Artto Hotel Glasgow

The single rooms don't look anything like your pictures the doors miss the bed by inches easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the lift didn't work and hasn't worked for 5 weeks we should have been informed of this so we could have booked elsewhere which is what I suggest everyone reading this does The toaster worked for breakfast and the girl in the morning was very helpful Stayed in June 2025

Great location, just over the road from Glasgow Central staion, comfortable clean room, friendly staff, what more could you ask for

Room carpet frayed and paintwork on tub was cracking. General state of room felt v neglected. Breakfast was out of packets and served in a bar! Staff v kind and good shower.

Staff was friendly. The bathrooms need a major cleaning!! Black mildew all on shower walls and sink area. Elevator not working and sounded as if it hadn’t been for a while with no plans for repair. We were only there 2 nights and cost was reasonable considering location next to central station.

Young man at reception was v helpful. A student from India. Another staff member helped me get online. But the elevator was not working. I’m 70+ so third floor room was a hard climb.

The location was ideal for my needs, the only gripe I have is that the bathroom was unbearably hot as the towel rail was on full pelt and I couldn't turn it down

There was this constant loud rattling and shaking below my room. The ambience of the room felt uncomfortable as well. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was a good deal for short notice but not quality.

This really is appalling accommodation masquerading as a "hotel" but characterised by Dickensian squalor. The lift supposedly servicing the four floors is permanently out of order. There was no safe place to leave luggage whilst the room was being prepared, we were forced to leave ours in a bar area accessible to the public. The rooms were an absolute disgrace, carpets and curtains filthy, with what appeared to be excrement on the netting. A outside generator prevented any sleep, and in any case the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the bedding dirty. The bathroom walls were covered in mould, fungus and damp, the shower curtain black with mould. It felt like I had been allocated room 101. Avoid this hell hole at all cost.

Very central hotel.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location in downtown Glasgow. Staff was very helpful in providing directions to the airport.
