Nice Victorian Bed & Breakfast that’s relaxing and quiet with views of the ocean; Staff was friendly and accommodating; Top floors a bit hot, but room was cooled with window air conditioning; Very good breakfast with tasty Hoffman ice cream parlor; Bed was a bit hard for my taste; Place was very clean. Would definitely stay again as a great place to relax & rejuvenate!

Extremely charming bed & breakfast just steps from the beach in lovely Ocean Grove. Excellent, quiet location. The friendly staff was welcoming and attentive. Very pretty and spacious breakfast room with a most wonderful spread every morning. Excellent amenities including beach passes for purchase plus complimentary use of beach towels and chairs. Ice cream shop on the bottom floor was a plus. Gazing at and listening to the sea from the rocking chairs on the beautiful porches was our favorite part of the day. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Very. Comfortable.

My son and I decided last minute to go on a little get away together . We have never done an Inn before! The parking was a bit difficult you must keep circling to find a spot and if you aren’t practiced in parallel parking .. then it may take longer. Lol. ( as was my case) We eventually found a spot! No valet parking and no helpers to get your luggage in the house but.. our host was kind enough to help us up the stairs to a quaint two twin bedroom in which we were staying:) we are completely accustomed to staying in 5 star posh hotels and walking in we didn’t know what to expect.. BUT.. the inn has a different unique feel to it. You have a house full of people but you would never know it by day… at night you see people trickle in and congregate on the beautiful porches. You chat and it’s very.. sweet. In the morning you wake up to a breakfast downstairs. An great spread of food. It amazed me in the morning learning just how many people were staying here! Mostly couples or older folk, my son was probably the youngest person at the inn. I think in hindsight people choose the inn because it’s so quiet. We loved the mini ice cream shop with homemade ice cream and loved the entire town of Victorian houses. We had a really nice mother/son getaway and would recommend. You just have to realize if you are used to the 5 star hotels .. know you are waking into a “home”. It’s an “experience”

Very pleasant stay. It is an older Inn so don’t expect an ultra modern hotel. Small rooms but found mine very comfortable. Very nice staff, clean rooms, excellent location. Other guests were very sociable as well. A little older crowd but I like it a little quieter. Will look to stay here again when visiting Ocean Grove.

From start to finish this place was absolutely incredible . The staff and the service were a 10/10. They make you feel at home and are directly across the street from the Ocean . The breakfast is absolutely incredible . Try the French Toast !

The only thing i would.make sure you request is an in suite bathroom.

The Lilligard is a great place to stay. It was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was high and breakfast was very good with many choices. The owners were on-site and helpful. It is located very close to the boardwalk and walkable to many restaurants and shops.

Excellent place to stay at the Jersey Shore. Steps away from the beach, very clean, hospitable hosts. I will definitely stay there again.
