DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh - Queensferry Crossing

Beautiful place and location, very tidy and great views of the bridges

The receptionists were uptight.

Big room, comfortable bed. Very good breakfast.

Room was not clean. Part of towels, were not clean, some pillows. Even chair. Curtain was torn. Not very big deal as I was alone and much time in my room. But there is a lot space to improve.

Great location for an early airport start. Nice views of the Firth from the bar/restaurant. Plenty parking.

Room (311?) was not very clean. Stains on bed frame, pillows and carpet. Constant loud humming noise that would not switch off even with the air con turned off. Mouldy grouting in shower, loose drain cover and broken bathroom mirror. Requested feather free bedding for allergies, hotel confirmed request but this was overlooked. They did provide foam pillows when we highlighted this. Bar staff were trying their best but clearly under too much pressure and a bit abrupt as a result.

The hotel is stunning and clean and smelt amazing. We stayed to the back of the hotel and it was just as good as the front views. Rooms immaculate and very generous size. Staff all very helpful and nothing was to great for them. From the front staff to the bar staff cannot fault them. A big shout out to the Housekeepers who do a tremendous job I myself work in hospitality and can say this is one of the best Hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at so a big thank you to all.

Comfortable room with a view

Everything was fine.

I had a great stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Queensferry. The staff were welcoming, and the warm cookie on arrival is always a nice touch. Special thanks to Victoria and Kirsty on the front desk—they were friendly, helpful and really made the stay! The room was clean and comfortable with a great night’s sleep. The views of the Forth bridges were picturesque, perfect for anyone who is into photography. Breakfast was fresh with a good selection too. Overall, a really pleasant stay

Disappointed with the charge for parking as the hotel was not in a city centre where parking is a premium. A standing service charge in the restaurant is something I'm against as I like to say if the service is good or not.
