difficult to extract the hotel qualities from the overall (negative) impact of a stay in Mumbai

Service was genuine, friendly and warm. Shower in bathroom could do with improvement in drainage and water flow. Bunding to prevent water flow to dry areas was insufficient and needs to be fixed.

people are extreamly rude, if you asking why all window and door is pasted with newspaper they will speak bad language in Hindi(local language) unfortunately I can understand it very well. breakfast is one of the most terrible.. all are not fresh and looks extremely dirty.

Fab Stay!

Great location, all that you would expect from a 3-star hotel. It's a great place to be located for location and pleasure, plenty of taxis available outside to get you around all over South Mumbai!

Als Ehepaar mit Tochter und Ehemann waren wir 4 Tage im Astoria. Zimmer gut und ausreichend ausgestattet. Bad und WC absolut in Ordnung. Auf einer Freifläche neben dem Hotel waren tagsüber ab und zu Pumpgeräusche zu hören, da Wasser abgesaugt wurde. Frühstücksbuffet war gut und ausreichend. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für die gute Lage in Ordnung.

If you need Internet/Wi-Fi - forget this hotel. I am a person experienced with Mumbai hotels - and this one was the worst one at which I have ever stayed (considering Internet/Wi-Fi as very important) During both days at the Astoria I had a terrible time with the connection. Spacious room, very clean toilet and bathroom and nice restaurant with good food. Perfect for business stay. Only issue i faced during my entire stay was 3G of my mobile didnt work till the time I am inside the hotel and moment I stand infront of the hotel...it works. I dont know the reason behind it. Hotel is near to beach and moment we move to the road we get the taxis very easily. There is a subway opposite to it. I would have liked the hotel better if it had a business centre and a wide lobby. Overall it was a good hotel that I can surely recommend or even stay when i come next time.

Liegt in Colaba und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß ereichbar (Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, Marine Drive). Zimmer sind sauber, Essen in Ordnung. Personal sehr komisch und machte teilweise einen unmotivierten Eindruck. Wünsche beim Frühstück wurden erfüllt, nachdem man einen wiederwilligen Blick des Personals begegnet ist. Beim Check In fand ich mich verloren und habe mich nicht als Gast gefühlt. Insgesamt ok, würde evtl nach einem anderen Hotel das nächste mal suchen.
