An Unforgettable Stay at Outrigger My stay at Outrigger was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was met with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail that made me feel instantly welcome. The staff are exceptional — consistently friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. Their smiles, kindness, and dedication really set this place apart and made the entire experience feel personal and special. The food deserves special praise. Every meal was simply fabulous — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and of outstanding quality. The variety, freshness, and care put into each dish were impressive, making dining at the resort a true highlight of my stay. Outrigger is a place where hospitality is felt, not just offered. I leave with beautiful memories and deep appreciation for the incredible team and the amazing culinary experience. I would highly recommend Outrigger to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and exceptional food — and I very much look forward to returning.

The hotel is absolutely old , shabby and smelly. Furniture is so old that u feel disgusted being there. Mice are everywhere running around as main guests there. Cokeroaches fly in the room! Cocktails in the bar are overpriced and made of cheap syrops. We stayed for 2 nights there and were happy to run away !

Everything is horrible. Hotel looks as it’s older than 50 years ! Personal barely speaks English and the guy at the bar doesn’t know the words “milk” or “bill”.

The Scenery

The staff are not helpful, they take hours to get back to you. You have to wait long periods for your drinks and orders after asking over and over again.

Großzügig gestaltete Anlage mit viel Grün. Wir haben meist am Strand gelegen, es gab immer genug freie Liegen. Der Strand hier ist wirklich toll. Man kann vom Strand aus Schnorcheln gehen - jede Menge Fische! Man konnte auch täglich mit dem hotelboot rausfahren, dafür musste man sich jedoch morgens um 9 anmelden. Wenn man rechtzeitig da war, kein Problem. Kajak und SUP hätte man auch jederzeit ausleihen können, es waren immer welche frei. Das Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich, es gab immer ein Motto - zusätzlich immer Nudeln und indisches essen. Wenn man nur Halbpension hat, summieren sich die Kosten für Getränke. Für AI müsste man schon den ganzen Tag im hotel das Angebot nutzen. Dafür ist ein mauritius Urlaub viel zu schade! In der näheren Umgebung gibt es viele tolle Angebote: quadfahren, reiten, Wasserfälle, rum tasting, u.v.m. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, es geht aber auch mit Taxi. Busfahren ist in der Gegend eher schwierig! Das Personal war reichlich vorhanden und alle sehr nett. Täglich wurde auf dem Zimmer Wasser aufgefüllt und sauber gemacht.

Der Parkplatz war meist sehr voll und eng beparkt. Ich habe auch nicht verstanden warum jemand immer händisch das Tor aufmachen musste, eine elektronische Schranke wäre viel praktischer.

Lush green gardens, very friendly and respectful staff, quiet and relaxing. Its location not far from airport.

It’s a good hotel but old and needs renovation due tear and wear. AC was not working properly.

The room we had was the best room in the place and it was comfy and great beach front views

The staff were very poor no very pushy when we arrived to try and get us to spend more money, I had to tell the woman stop, the food at the hotel was shocking some of the worst food I’ve ever had at a stay, breakfast all the equipment was old broken glass and greasy surfaces really poor we had to hotel hop up the beach and go to other hotels, staff unhelpful again
