Spark by Hilton Houston West Clay Road

Quiet. Comfortable bed.

They are remodeling and 1/2 finished everywhere. Construction dust and no baseboards, 1/2 painted room. We booked a non a/c room accidentally, and they asked if we wanted to upgrade to a/c for $136 more for a 2 night stay. Booking graciously cancelled that reservation (I had no idea that would be offered in Houston) and we made another reservation for an a/c room for same amount as the non a/c room. The breakfast offered was slim. We declined breakfast. But..despite all that, it was quiet and we slept comfortably.

Very clean and good condition for all. Bur still under remodeling. It bothers me a little.

Everything good, clean beds and bathrooms. The only thing no eggs for breakfast!!!!

I ended up staying at the hotel lobby doing some work. A front guy kindly helped me to print out my paper here. Since I needed to kill some time before I head to a next place, I appreciated the hotel letting me work in the lobby area after I checked out.

Late night check in wasn’t friendly. It’s under. Renovation but our room was immaculate and bathroom like new. Next morning I realized that night clerk charged me again for the room even though I paid through Travelocity. Manager reversed charges. Breakfast the basic items.

Very rude check in person. So unusual in Texas. Everything else was satisfactory. Nothing exciting, just satisfactory. We chose the hotel because of the access to the Beltway and it was easy to find and plenty of parking. We did not try breakfast.

Comfy beds and very clean!!

We love this hotel. Every year the owners add more updates and improvements. Keep up the good work!
