For purpose of pilgrimage to the grotto this hotel is perfect location, 10 min walk to the grotto, shopping places and eateries nearby, very good breakfast but you have to book the day before, it’s a MUST, or no breakfast.srayed here for four nights. I recommend this place. About 20 mins from the airport. Staff very helpful & pleasant.
Hotel was very close to the grotto which was nice. Overall ok
Hotel was very near the sanctuary. Great location with lots of restaurants and shops just opposite the hotel. Within a 5min walk from the sanctuary. Staff was great, though you should prebook a taxi with the hotel before arriving as there are no taxis waiting at the airport.
The Hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. This was most convenient. Please be aware that the main gates to the Shrine area close at 17:30. After that entrance and exit are via the road to the left of the main entrance. The hotel staff was most helpful in finding restaurants for travelers in the off season. Parking in he off season was down the street in a common lot. In February parking is free. Breakfast was minimal but for just a few Euro's not a problem. Over all I rate it an 8.5
Very noisy, rooms are too close to each other, same breakfast every morning, wasn't happy at all.
Short visit to the shrine
It was very hot, no AC! Location great for visiting city, but be warned that Lourdes is very tacky, touristy.
I WILL RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO MY FRIENDS. IT'S VERY CONVENIENT AND NEAR THE SANCTUARY...
a basic hotel conveniently located near the grotto and train station. I must say that the staff is very helpful especially the kind lady at the front desk. The room is small but cosy. The only downside is sound-proofing as we can hear people talking in the hallways. Hoping to come back to Lourdes and would definitely consider staying at St-Etienne again.
Had a diffficult time locating the hotel because of constructions going on in town, and some streets were closed to traffic.
