Super 8 by Wyndham White River Junction

We decided to save a little money and booked a hotel stay at Super 8 in White River Junction Vermont. The room is exactly what you'd expect, no frills! The beds are super uncomfortable. The bathtub is very narrow. And of course there's no mini fridge or microwave. But this is what you'd expect from a Super 8. We checked in and our card was authorized for two night. The next day, the front office called our room off the hook. When we answered, the so-called "manager" who said her name is Karen? Told us in a very rude tone that our card declined and was demanding payment for both nights? So, we came to the office with another card and paid for both nights. We then proceeded to call the card that she said declined to find out what happened. But when we called the card, everything was fine with it. No issues. A large amount of credit was available. So, we call the front office back to find out what happened. And this manager buckles down on her rudeness and unprofessionalism. She never apologized or took any kind of accountability for what happened. She remained very rude saying, "Your card declined!" over and over. She then proceeded to hang up on us because we expressed that we will never stay at this hotel again. I understand we're at a Super 8 (which we'll never go to again!) But the hotel clerks/"managers" need more training in etiquette and customer service! There's no need to embarrass or harass your customers. These lunatics have jobs because travelers like us, stay in your rooms! And if you continue to disrespect, embarrass, and harass your customers, no one will book anymore rooms with you. And YOU, my dear friend Karen, will be out of a job!!!! To make a long story short, proceed with caution at this location. But for us, I'd give them a negative rating, if I could. One star is too generous!!!!

My wife and son showed up after dark. As they pulled into the parking lot they witnessed people smoking glass pipes all around the front entrance. They didn't feel safe getting out of the car. The property is a dump, several boards in windows. I had to book a different hotel and requested a refund from Expedia who refused. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!

Hard beds, gap under front door. Toilet over flowed, coffee left from previous client on microwave. Mold on ceiling. TV. Voices didn't match , not clear picture. Very outdated.

The picture of hotel is wrong,one level.The handicap room smelled when door was open. The bathroom had black mold on wall. Returned key,left.

Pretty run down. Bare bones

Room had many surprises, tv complete dark screen, alarm went off at midnight, etc. not a restful stay.
