Amazing staff at front desk

The TV remote did not work and the hotel is across the food center with many homeless (or thats what it looked like) folks hanging out there. We not have issues but were unsettled walking with our teen daughter.

The location was perfect and I loved the hotel. It was spacious comfortable, clean, well equipped, nicely furnished and the beds were super comfy. The free weekend breakfast was an unexpected bonus and a delight. If I returned to Providence I would happily choose this hotel again

Our room was next to a noisy generator which emanated a constant low mechanical noise which detracted from my enjoyment of the room. We arrived late on the Friday and I found it difficult to get off to sleep.. When in the room I was constantly aware of it and could not sit and relax in there. The reception staff said they would check it out but no further feedback was forth coming. As we were only there for 2 nights I did not make a fuss but if I returned to Providence and this hotel I would request a quiet room away from lift and generator noise

"This was a lovely and comfortable hotel, and the rooms were extremely spacious."

Valet services were excellent. The do not disturb sign had a literary quote - which was delightful. Historical architectural details were lovely.

Continental breakfast is only available on the weekends.

"Lovely hotel in downtown Providence with exceptional staff."

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of shops, event center and the theatre. The Room is spacious with old world charm. The "continental" breakfast was fantastic, not just simple cereal, toast and yogurt but they had omeletes and eggs made to order, fresh fruit, frend toast and breakfast sandwiches.

Minor issue with the outlet in the bathroom.
