I attended a work conference in Denver last week & we had an event at The Clayton Club! It was my first time visiting this location & I was highly impressed! The staff at the front desk were friendly & kind greeting us with a smile & eagerness to help. They could tell we seemed a bit lost as we arrived & quickly anticipated our needs, pointing us in the right direction. The decor of the lobby area was very warm & inviting & created a sense of gathering. It would be the perfect spot to relax over conversation, a book, or coffee. The rooftop was where the fun started! We were again welcomed by friendly faces, who seemed excited to have us in their space. The bar had such a lively & energetic, creating an atmosphere where we could vibe to the music but also engage in good conversation. I had an Old Fashioned made with Bourbon, and it was perfectly executed by the bartender, who told me his name, but I can't quite remember what it was! Huge thank you for making this drink to my liking! I ended up pulling an Irish goodbye as the night was getting late & being on Oahu time, I was ready for bed before a long day. On my way out I bumped into the General Manager, Colter, who inquired about my experience & wished me a fun farewell. It was a very good experience from start to finish & the next time I am in Denver, I am going to stay at this property!

Just discovered a great new spot in Cherry Creek North — The Clayton! I took my sister there for her birthday lunch, and we had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. My sister ordered the salmon, and I had the crab cake — both were wonderful. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made the whole meal feel special. If you’re visiting Denver or looking for a new place to try, The Clayton is definitely a gem in Cherry Creek North and well worth a visit.

I recently attended a work event at the Clayton Club and had a fantastic experience. The space is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere for both networking and conversation. The team was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the event. The food and drinks were excellent, and the overall service made the evening feel seamless and well executed. It was a great setting for a work gathering, and I would absolutely return.

There are so many positives about this place. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable, clean, well appointed., and many of the staff are kind and helpful. The hotel has multiple on site restaurants to choose from and for a (mandated) fee, as a hotel guest you can take advantage of the club amenities during your stay. However, during my brief stay, I learned about the collision between hotel and club. On night two of my two night stay I opted to go to bed on the early side only to lay down as the music from a private party 3 floors above my room cranked up. I called the front desk as there had been no mention of a nearby nightclub, or maybe a guest was throwing a party in their room? I had no idea. I was immediately met with a rude staff member who impatiently told me that they could move me to another room down the hall for the night, but i had willingly checked into a hotel/private club and they had no control over club members and their parties, and on and on. When I tried to steer the conversation toward a financial compensation, the staff member began yelling at me. I ended our conversation and elected to stay in my room and deal with the noise on my own (i.e. earplugs). If I had known beforehand, I might have selected a different hotel. If they had bothered to consider this at my check in, I might already have a quieter room. A lot of ifs, so I am writing here to alert future guests that this is how it is to stay here. I chose to stay in my room and was given a refund on my parking as compensation.

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at The Clayton Hotel on our recent trip to Denver, Colorado. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the valet was prompt and courteous, the front desk was warm and welcoming, our room was sparkling, clean and very comfortable, the restaurant and bar provides excellent food and beverages in a very relaxing yet upscale setting, and the hotel is located in the heart of Cherry Creek North, one of Denver‘s premier areas to stay. We would highly recommend this hotel for visitors to the Mile High City.
