Clayton Hotel & Members Club

Great location, reception was very friendly. 2nd floor lounge was amazing for coffee the one day I was permitted. Good location for visiting my son at University of Denver.

They were hosting what looked like a fabulous Halloween Party, but this meant many amenities were unavailable for 2 of the 3 nights I was there. They tried to move breakfast /coffee /drinks up to the tiny rooftop bar. There was 1 poor waitress up there and she was really trying but menu was limited, the drip coffee was bad , service incredibly slow and everyone was complaining. Everything shut down for 2 full days for this party. I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known this. First night and morning were excellent but I was honestly embarrassed by what I had paid when my husband joined me for the weekend.

Went to have lunch on the roof with some coworkers. Service was quick and the food was excellent. The holiday decor set a nice atmosphere as well. We will definitely be back.

I got invited to a lunch their holiday pop up Velvet & Spice. The food was great, and the space was decorated beautifully. Nick was an amazing host!

I recently enjoyed lunch at the Clayton rooftop with a colleague and had a wonderful experience. The holiday decor is elegant, and both the cuisine and service exceeded our expectations. If you haven't had the opportunity to dine or stay here yet, I highly recommend it!

Dining at The Clayton was wonderful! Nick Jones, one of the managers there, was so attentive to what we needed. The chefs prepared the best Salmon and Bass. You can tell they really care about attention to detail. Everything was so yummy!

for the price the hotel needs updating.

Travelled from Chicago to Denver to meet my best friend for a girl’s weekend to celebrate her birthday. We selected The Clayton based on their write up, the location and prior reviews. DO NOT do it if sleep matters to you at all. Both nights the loud music and raucous crowd outside and below our 5th floor room were intolerable; even ear plugs that we purchased after the first night could not drown it out. The staff became unaccommodating and disingenuous in their apology when we addressed this issue both on Saturday and Sunday. To be fair, the other accommodations were fine but the noise problem and indifference of the staff surrounding that issue colored the entire experience in a very negative light. Terribly disappointing for a hotel that holds itself out as “Luxury Redefined”.

The Clayton is a stylish hotel in a great location, near plenty of shops and restaurants. The rooms are reasonably sized and nicely furnished, and there are some great great spaces for working and/or mingling with clients or colleagues. Most of all, the service was excellent. I arrived to find that my reservation was booked for the wrong dates. They resolved the issue with minimal hassle, despite the fact that the reservation had been booked through one of the Expedia sites. I look forward to staying there again on my next trip to Denver.
