Good location in the city center. Nice people.

I feel really lucky to find the place, thanks to previous reviews of other travellers. I would also recommend you to stay here to experience Lijiang Ancient City. Perfect location, quietness and special experience of staying in old house with modern facilities inside the room. Staffs are extremely warm and friendly, somehow special and impressive to me.

Place is really cosy, locstion is excellent to walk into the old town, very clean, size of the bedroom excellent. And then there is Rose, the host, super friendly and helpful!

Good location. Very friendly and helpful proprietor. Accommodation rather basic but offers an experience of local home environment.

Wonderful Tibetan style place which felt more like a homestay. Rose & her husband are really lovely & friendly hosts. Breakfast was great too, home cooked porridge & condiments. We had fun playing with Luga, their dog, as well. Pity we only stayed one night. We’ll be back!

Everything ok

Rose has been a fantastic host, she can speak perfect English and she suggested how to arrange our days in Shangri-La, she helped us booking taxis, renting a scooter to explore the area, she gave us recommendations on local restaurants. Breakfast was rich and she even gave us moon cakes to try as she knew we liked them. We had our best night here during the Moon Festival with a great party with her friends where we had snacks and typical Chinese wine. We will never forget it. The room is nice and it has all the facilities. The hostel is 2 mins walking from the old town of the city and 15 mins by car from the railway station. Very convenient.
