Timeless Inn

The owner Rose was a perfect host. She spoke French and English and was very friendly cheerful and helpful person. We really enjoyed our 4days there. Thanks Rose!

The best of Timeless Inn? The hospitality and warmness of Rose. Supporting all guests with a permanent smile. Very helpful her advice. The atmosphere in the hotel was also very warm. The tibetan traditional style in all the house and specialy in the rooms is pretty attractive. And the very best... Luca their lovely dog. 😍

Some carpets need some cleaning and a heater in the bathroom would be desirable. On the other hand, in the info of the room said that it had views to the mountains... but the only view was to the back street. But I want to make it clear that these are minor aspects considering the global impression.

Hosters are very kind and atencious. Great location. Room was comfortable and clean. Place is very cozy.

Wonderful stay run by warm and very helpful owners- Arong and Rose. If you have any questions about taxis, tours, cooking classes, anything at all, ask Rose. She is kind, caring and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the heater was an added benefit. The bed was comfortable, there are extra blankets, kettle and tea for your use. In case of any altitude sickness problems there is also oxygen in your room. The bathroom is spacious and shower is hot. Breakfast is warm too. Location is perfect, quiet for an excellent night of sleep but close to the main square where every day at 8pm traditional dancing takes place. There are many places to eat, by souvenirs etc. Timeless Inn is the right choice. The decor is wonderful and you can enjoy early sunshine in the upper terrace. Will be returning.

The guesthouse owner, Rose, she speaks perfect English and extremely hospitable. Very knowledgeable about onward Visas to Tibet, and also getting around Shangari-la itself. She picked us up when we were dropped off at Northern Gate, and when we left, showed us the location for taxi to pick us up. Breakfast was simple but great. Room is equipped with oxygen machine in case of altitude sickness. Room has its rustic old town charm while being very comfortable.

The stairs up to second floor is very steep. People with mobility issues will have difficulty, pls ensure to let the owner know in advance

Beautiful original wooden property . Lovely host Rose made us a fantastic cooked breakfast each morning and helped us with anything we needed. Superb location in the old town a few minutes walk from the square where they do traditional dancing every evening.

The property is really close to center. The owner Ms. Rose is more than awesome in hospitality, helpful, take care, quick response and prepare great breakfast. The decoration is unique and beautiful. Rose contact very nice driver for us to one day trip with friendly, helpful and kind. I strongly recommend visitor for this place.

What a lovely stay. Beautiful decorated rooms with heater if you need, great hosts, perfect location. We felt at home and will come back again.
