Kasa Cadillac Square Detroit

- extremely fast and consistent wifi - very central location - room is very spacious and there is an in-room full kitchen / dishwasher / laundry

- Literal greased disgusting hand smears on the closets and front door, see pictures below - what appears to be food smears behind the front door?? - an actual hole from the closet door stopper - no pictures but the bathroom sink would take 30 minutes to drain - because of this, we arrived and found a nice helping of beard shavings in the sink, wonderful - probably the thinest walls I have ever stayed in - anyone speaking outside the front door sounds clear as day even if you're at the deepest part of the room. i could hear elevator chimes going off all day/night - SERVICE: there is literally no one manning the building, so do not expect any form of customer service. you have to text a phone number to get a response, and most of the responses are chosen from a menu of default responses. for example, it took me 30 minutes to get an answer about how to unlock the luggage storage doors after multiple back-and-forth exchanges. if i was speaking to a robot on the other side i would not be surprised - I reported the clogged sink and asked them to fix it - their response was as follows: "we aim to have it resolved in 24 hours but times may vary. to address this promptly, our team will need to aaccess your unit and we are not able to provide exact time frames for their visit" - they are basically saying someone will enter our unit unannounced and we can't do anything about that... absolutely insane - 7/11 downstairs sounds convenient but a bunch of random folks just hang out there often, not a great feel

Hotel located close to Ford Field Perfect for the football game. Everything was walkable for us. The two room suite with a kitchen was a value and very clean and convenient.

The most important thing to know is that there is a 7-11 on the ground floor of this building with the entrance right next to the entrance for the hotel. I (female in 60's) was verbally assaulted by a man outside of the door. I was waiting for my husband and this man asked for a cigarette. I told him I didn't have any and he called me some names. I did not feel safe. A lot of homeless-appearing people hang out in front of that 7-11. I do not recommend this location for any females traveling alone, especially, but even if you are with another person. Other than that, the place was ok. There's a coffee maker but no coffee- there were two "tea bag-type" coffees and an electric kettle. Cleanliness was a 3 out of 5. I would not stay there again.

Great location to walk to the main strip, plus a great coffee shop around the corner. The room itself was huge, bigger than we expected. Easy to store luggage area and bed was huge, so comfy.

Some minor roadworks out the front, but didnt cause any issue - just an fyi.

Ich war zum Detroit Marathon in der Stadt und die Lage ist einfach top gewesen. Dazu ist ansonsten auch alles gut zu erreichen gewesen und das Apartment war super sauber

I enjoyed my stay at Kasa in Detroit, the room was clean, the check in was easy. I had prepaid for parking but there was an accident in front of the parking garage and because of that I ended up needing to pay for parking elsewhere, the Kasa team was very prompt in giving me a refund for the unused parking. The 7-11 under the building was really convenient for late nights and the diner next door was a great breakfast spot. I came to Detroit for a concert at the Filmore and the Kasa was conveniently placed a short walk away, will definitely be coming back for any future stays in Detroit.
