Don't walk, RUN AWAY from this place! My family and I stayed here for 1 night in early August and it was the dirtiest place we have ever stayed. Stains and garbage on the pull out bed, chairs that were too filthy to sit on, and an end table that had so many stains on it. We checked in at 5:30 pm, contacted the people right away to inform them of the dirty room and their response was "we are so sorry that happened but housekeeping is gone for the day and won't be back until the morning". They promised a partial refund but it has been over 2 weeks and I have yet to see any refund. RUN far, far away from this place!

Absolutely one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. I arrived at Kasa Apartments in Detroit expecting a smooth check-in, only to be stranded in the lobby for over four hours with no staff on site and no response to the multiple messages I sent through their so-called "support" system and 'whatsapp'. There was zero accountability, and I was completely left on my own in an unfamiliar city. On top of that, I was scammed out of money during the booking process, with no resolution or even acknowledgement from Kasa. When I was finally able to access the unit, it was in horrendous condition—dirty, smelly, and clearly never cleaned before my arrival. The apartment was missing basic furnishings, including a couch that was listed in the amenities, and worst of all, I found cockroaches crawling around the space. It was not only uncomfortable but truly unhygienic and unsafe. Kasa’s complete lack of customer service, misleading listings, and disregard for guest well-being make this property (and brand) completely untrustworthy. I would strongly urge others to stay far away from this place—you are better off sleeping in your car.

It was cleaner than most other hotels/places I’ve stayed at, and the toiletries were good. I like that there was coffee and tea that I could have as well. Bed sheets were super clean.

Then construction made it hard to find/get to but that’s not really something you can control. Also the late checkout was kind of expensive, 11am default feels early and paying $50 to stay until 2pm felt unfair.

Nutshell: Fantastic space, poor communication The place and space is fantastic: there is so much to do in the area, and it was nicely located for where I was going for work. However, I had some issues with arrival and timing with my colleague, and the online-only system and lack of a real front desk person to contact before arriving was a real disappointment. So much so that I hesitate to stay at Kasa locations if this is the type of customer service they provide.

This experience was nothing short of extraordinary! I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Book it now, and I assure you, it will be a decision you won’t regret.

Overal a great place to stay in downtown Detroit. Road construction made it a little hard parking
