Kasa Cadillac Square Detroit

Fabulous, fabulous place to stay! Beautiful interior and immaculately clean. I stayed two days and would definitely stay again in the future. The communications from Kasa were clear and comprehensive. Nice little touches like ear plugs, bottled water and cookies. Right in the heart of downtown Detroit, but I still found it quiet and safe. By far, the best place I stayed on my tour through Michigan.

Clean, spacious

It is located next to 7/11 and there were strange people hanging out by it. There is a luggage room that can only be used during our stay. I had my flight at 6pm but check out at 11am, and I thought I could use a luggage room (because why else would you have it?) and I could not use it, which was really annoying.

Great location, we enjoy walking and it was walking distance from a lot of places in downtown.

No real big complaints, there was construction happening at the time of our visit but I don’t think that’s a constant issue.

Convenient location, walkable to any restaurants into the stadiums. Comfortable bed.

We knew the general area when we booked but it was better than we thought! Parking garage was so close to the front door that we could leave our bikes right on the bike rack at the car and grab them when we wanted to use them. The building has 2 elevators and only about 30 units so there was literally no waiting to get to the 7th floor, or back down again. The conveniences are almost too many to list. Restaurants everywhere in the area with regular American food or every type of ethnic food you can imagine (one of the many great thing about the Midwest towns like Detroit is all of the people who settled there and brought their cuisine from "Home"). There's a grocery store within a block that has everything you could want and when you need a night snack, 7-11 is right in the same building on the 1st floor. The view from the 7th floor was also amazing... the Historic Wayne County Building (built in 1895) is right across the street. The Renaissance Center 2 blocks down to the right, you can even see the Ontario Skyline across the river. I run in the morning and it's a 2 block walk down to the Riverwalk. From there you can head in either direction and go for miles, right along the river. If you're up to it, you can go all the way to Belle Isle and explore one of the few Public Park Islands on an international waterway! It's also a couple of blocks to historic Woodward Avenue. This place is a Gem and to top it off, they've kept it reasonable. Hats off to the owners of this one!!!!

The property overall is fine. The bed was rock hard and the room was a bit stained.

Highly recommend this hotel. It was very easy to find, in the GreenLight district so it’s very safe and in the middle of the downtown so easy to walk to places. It’s close to the Qline. There is plenty of food, entertainment and shops around.

While the property was fairly well maintained to my eyes, I experienced a LOT of noise issues. There was a loud party on my floor with people yelling at each other in the hallway for about 40 mins after midnight. Also lots of construction outside the building. I called the customer service number about the loud guests, but nothing changed, so I ended up calling the police with a noise complaint. Also my door lock was basically broken so, security is not very strong.

The place is very nice and clean. The area around it is under construction. There were a couple of people near the 7-Eleven that would hang out all the way to the midnight.
