Belizean Shores Resort

We really liked the Belizean Shores Resort and enjoyed our oceanfront unit, which was well equipped and we truly felt « at home ». The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. We spent a lot of time exploring the island, away from the resort so cannot speak about the facilities such as pool, food, offered activities. However, we found this property convenient and well-maintained, with nearby coffee shop, convenience « mini-market » and we liked our meal at the Tipsy Lobster restaurant across the road. There is a lovely overwater deck which we would have surely enjoyed if the weather was better.

Staff was exceptionally friendly.

The hotel is a small and lovely property where it’s easy to get around and enjoy the amenities. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. So all in all this was a great choice. Having said that, here’s a few things to know: 1. They don’t have their own restaurant on premises so the food is ordered there but delivered from a nearby property. There’s a lovely coffee shop across the street so that’s the best place for breakfast. 2. Some water activities are free but snorkel masks carry a small daily fee. 3. There’s decent WiFi all over but don’t plan on doing video conferences… I found the signal too weak to sustain a video call. 4. The resort shuttle is expensive - you can do better on your own but make sure to also arrange departure pickup - there’s no street cabs or Ubers… And hope you don’t have e rain all day - it does get wet there.

Best accommodations and friendliest staff. Freddie and Tua and Kevin are the best bartenders EVER!! Beautiful beachfront views . Great food choices. Love the new lobster menu. Pool was chilly, probably due to weather, but still nice. Front office staff and the booking agent were tops!

Nice pool/hottub/bar area, quit location (last resort still on paved roads), kayak to reef.

Amazing experience and service was outstanding!! Our flight was delayed and got us in a day later! The front desk staff was so amazingly accommodating and pushed back our reservation a day with no extra charge. We changed our arrival pickup from the airport to the water taxi and the driver met us-was there waiting for us as we got off the water taxi. We hadn't eaten all day and he graciously dropped us to pick up food before heading to the hotel-and gave us advice of which restaurants were good in the area. When we arrived to our hotel, we were greeted with kindness! It was my birthday and they decorated the bed and had a nice card welcoming us in for my birthday! Our 2nd to last day there, it rained very heavily and the golf cart that we rented from the resort stalled and wouldn't restart. The agent came right away from the hotel to pick us up and get us safely back to the resort and switch out our golf carts. They responded swiftly and with such kindness. My very last day, I realized I left my iPad in the room and they sent the iPad with the driver who was picking up guests for the shuttle that arrived to the airport after ours! Again they responded quickly and promptly with such graciousness and kindness! I cannot thank these people enough for their professionalism and promptness, their welcoming attitudes and kindness! I will be back! 10/10 resort experience!

Very clean grounds and friendly staff. Good vibes and a smaller resort which makes you feel a family like vibe and others are easily approachable and want to chat. Came for Christmas Break so the prices were over the top but for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle this is a relaxing spot. Great tour options and good fishing right off the dock

Typical resort and great place for families with older kids. If you have younger kids stay next door at Coco Beach. Food is very average but in lobster season there are lots of good options for fresh lobster and some other seafoods. The other food is quite North American and deepfried. Toowa the bartender is awesome and really makes you feel invited and welcome. Golf carts are for rent and are in very good shape, amenities are all very well taken care of and the pool is super clean. Great place, quite pricey but if resort style travel is your thing then its comfortable enough in a very nice setting. Only major comlaint was the HVAC in the room only went to 74 degrees so we slept very hot and uncomfortably.
