Belizean Shores Resort

Everything about our stay was amazing, from the reservation to the airport shuttle to the property to the staff. They made everything so easy! Take the shuttle from the airport and rent your golf cart at the property. We loved that one of the highest rated tour companies docked at the property where we did 2 snorkeling tours and a sunset cruise. The pool is beautiful and the hot tub is hot. The sunrise from the property is spectacular. The grounds are exceptionally well kept.

My husband and I recently traveled to San Pedro and stayed at the Belizean Shores Resort. Seleny and Caren were wonderful and made sure our stay was everything that it was supposed to be. The beach is just steps away. The rooms are amazing. Prior to our arrival, we were assisted in securing our hopper flight from Belize City. When we arrived, we were able to get an earlier flight. Seleny checked us in early, with no problem. I highly recommend this property if you want to get the most bang for your buck.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Seleny at the front and Carter (one of the engineers) made sure everything was just right for us. Make sure you walk next door to the sister property for the restaurant.

Great place to stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Belizean Shores. From the space, pool, and people, all were top notch. We had a sea view lofted room. The space was perfect, with a little kitchen, living room, ensuite king bedroom, and lofted queen with private bath. Perfect for 3 adults (or a family would be great as well). We made good use of our balcony, enjoying breakfast/coffee and other meals there. The pool was GREAT! lots of lounge chairs to choose from, and plenty of options for shade or sun. We took advantage of the swim-up bar, and enjoyed happy hour daily. Freddy and Tua always made sure everyone was hydrated! The staff is fantastic. From Karen, the concierge- who made all kinds of arrangements for us (flights, dinner reservations, excursions), to Freddy and Tua at the bar, to all the security and grounds crew. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Belizean Shores, and would definitely stay again!

Spacious rooms, well kept property, nice big pool and beautiful dock. Attentive and helpful staff, specially the check-in/concierge ladies. There is no restaurant on site, but complimentary coffee supplies were provided, as well as plenty of drinkable water. You can also order food to your room from a close by resort, or walk along side the beach and eat there and enjoy the beautiful setting there. The beach is not swimmable due to lots of debri, algae and a construction next door, but there are hammocks on the dock and on the clean sand closer to the resort.

This was the most accommodating, great staff I have had in a lot of travels. Perfect location, peaceful and not crowded. I will be back - no question

We booked Belizian Shores based on the reviews. This hotel is great and very family friendly. The staff were all very kind, flexible, and accommodating. The resort has a great pool and our kids loved it. It also has nice grounds and great amenities; we didn't have time to enjoy most of them, but other families seemed to like them. We also really liked that they are beachfront and have a highly rated tour company (Tuff e Nuff) is a one minute walk on the dock. We booked two tours with them, both of which were great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

My family and I just spent the last week at Belizean Shores. The resort sits about 3.5 miles North of San Pedro. It is much quieter at this end of the island rather than in town. The road is paved to the resort. The resort is a little dated but the service and attention to detail were outstanding. We would not hesitate to stay again. I did a lot of research and at this price point, I don't feel like we could have gotten a better deal. One resort over, the cost would have been $1000 more for the week. The landscaping here is immaculate and every single worker we encountered was helpful, kind and gracious. We booked 2 Tours through the tour company Tuff Enough (They have a dock on site). Both tours delivered as promised. We also rented a golf cart on site through the hotel with J&K golf cart rental. The cart was wonderful and they even topped off our tank and washed the carts mid week at no extra charge! It was extremely convenient to just turn the cart in at the end of the week with no hassle. We stayed in 2D (which could have better water pressure for the shower) but who cares, you are in Belize where a little water pressure issue is not going to break the vacation in paradise. Our room was extremely spacious and we had a great balcony to overlook the beautiful beach. Housekeeping was phenomenal and they even washed our dirty dishes! Please be sure to tip these wonderful folks who put so much hard work into making this place a return to again and again location.
