Belizean Shores Resort

Enjoyable and pleasant stay. Nice size two level suite with kitchen and nice size balcony overlooking pool. Loved pool and jacuzzi. Property has nice access to beach with beautiful views.

Pros: Nice pool and amenities. Allowed us to check out late in one of the four rooms we booked. Cons: Location is far up north of the Island which adds 30 mins to an already long journey to Ambergris Caye. Facilities are dated and bedroom door would not open fully without loud screeching noise. Shower needs renovating. Food is subpar and expensive. Staff ordered more food than we ordered but forced me to pay the bill for which I could not refuse. Personally brought 4 families to the hotel but they not would not offer me a dime in relief for a mistake that was due to miscommunication and certainly no fault of mine.

Our second time here and again we loved it. Planning on a December trip!

Just a great staff on the property. They went to the extreme to make you happy even though they didn’t have to.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Smaller and quieter than the larger resorts, but still had all the amenities we were looking for. Pool, hot tub, swim up bar, restaurants at sister resort next door and some really good food options just across the street from the resort entrance.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Belizean Shores Resort. Our accommodation was very roomy. Bed was comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We stayed in 3C which was in a great location. Very close to the gorgeous pool, view of the beautiful dock, beach and ocean! All staff were very hard working and wanted to be certain you were well looked after. We had a small issue with the toilet and within minutes it was looked after. Caren Oh at the concierge desk was top notch with assisting us in booking excursions and a golf cart. A cart is needed when staying at this resort as it is out of town. However, it is very quiet, which we enjoyed. There are some great restaurants a short walk up the beach. We definitely recommend to stay here when visiting Ambergris Caye.

The property was well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful resort with a tennis court, volleyball, corn hole, ping pong, pickle ball, and basketball. The pool was cleaned daily and is a great depth for kids to play. The view from each room is spectacular. You can fish, swim, and paddle from the beach as the resort as well. There were five of us and our upper suite never felt crowded. We enjoyed spending time at the resort and created many wonderful memories there.

Belizean shores was different from the resorts we’ve previously stayed at. But it exceeded our expectations in a good way. It was smaller, quiet but beautiful. it was an absolutely wonderful experience for us. The staff couldn’t have been kinder. We felt incredibly safe. The rooms were awesome, large and clean. Would definitely stay again.
