Eugenia Hotel

Eugenia Hotel was a great place to stay in Quito. We had a late flight and they organised for someone to be waiting at the airport for us and stayed open late and were waiting when we arrived. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. Wifi worked well in the rooms and there was a lift for luggage. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety. Close to Plaza Foch and restaurants and only a $3 taxi to the old town, which the front desk were happy to book. Would stay here again.

The hotel reception staff were excellent and very friendly. We received great advice regarding safety and security in the neighbourhood and walking around the Old Town, directions to the Metrobus system. The hotel has an authentic colonial charm about it, which we really liked and we found it to be very relaxing. Good selection of nearby restaurants on edge of La Mariscal district, though on an Easter holiday weekend we found many of them to be closed. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety and plenty of everything. They organised a 4 am breakfast and an early morning taxi to the airport for our ridiculously early flight departure to the Galapogos. The room was very comfortable though the single glazed windows were not enough to keep the noise of passing traffic and car alarms out. So, this did mildly interfere with our sleep. We would definitely stay again should be find ourselves in Quito again.

Staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. Always ready to help us with tours and information to make sure our stay was very enjoyable.

I stayed at this place for 3 nights. Nothing to complain about. Seems old from outside but nice rooms really good service and friendly staff. Standart breakfast. I will recommend this place at any time.

I stayed here both sides of a g adventures tour, I found the hotel to be clean, decent rooms and an adequate breakfast was included. Drinkable water was provided and WiFi was fairly good. Close to the nightlife area with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure.

First, clean....however the décor...change the outside dirty fake flowers...the personnel was very attentive, however, some spoke very little English. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, different variety of meats, cereal, fruit pealed and cut up...coffee etc We travel a lot and I like the Front Desk person to be knowledgeable of where to eat.. These guys were not (owner needs to send these guys out so they have the knowlege to pass along to the guests. Needed change for some $20s couldn't do it, really ? And if you use a washcloth etc. bring it with you...it is close to downtown, you cand walk, however, if you are there after dark, take a taxi back $3.00 wisely spent

The rooms are quiet. I just stayed for a couple of days but had a great time. Its very close to downtown so i could go out and have something to eat. Old town is amazing love the churches, the hotel is close to that too. Breakfast buffet was good, lots of exotic fruits.

Bed was comfortable. Room was pretty quiet. Desk staff were friendly and spoke English well.
