Kandahar Lodge at Whitefish Mountain Resort

This lodge is truly ski in ski out - what a treat. The staff are so accommodating and kind. It feels like a family style lodge from a bygone era. Families are hanging out in the common areas, playing games or reading by the fire. The cookie, popcorn and hot chocolate "happy hour" was anticipated every day. The breakfast is hearty and the coffee plentiful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only thing that was an issue for us, and this has nothing to do with the hotel, is there are limited dining options in the tiny ski resort village. We were there between Christmas and New Year and there were only two restaurants to choose from (other than the hotel restaurant which is very expensive). Just something to plan around.

Very cosy and pleasant lodge - true mountain feel. Shuttle to slopes on demand and hot tub are a huge plus.

Beautiful lodge with a warm fire always going. Super friendly staff and a lovely morning breakfast.
