Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive

I wanna start by saying I'm never one to post reviews or ever write anything this long but this was literally the best experience I've ever had and I've stayed at multiple resorts in Mexico, been to the Dominican Republic, Aruba, Saint Martin, and done a cruise. Along with about half if not more of my group also being avid travelers and the consensus all around was WOW. My (now) husband and I stayed at this amazing resort for 2 weeks. While we were there we had the wedding of our dreams at eternity beach. Along with us came 68 friends and families 2 being babies. As the soon to be married couple we were greeted by the lovely Allona and taxi driver Bradley. We were given fresh coconut water straight from the coconut and a sign with our names on it and a personal ride to the resort! The rest of our guests just had to easily access the desk and grab a shuttle to the resort which is literally a 3 minute drive from the airport!!! Can't beat that after 8 hrs of travel from Michigan! Once at the resort we were given a yummy mermaid drink and met the lovely Jabari, Ervin, and Tari who helped bring our bags to our room. We got the concierge package and our main point of contact was Shirlanda. When we arrived she gave us the run down of the resort, had our dinner booked, and gave us our personal phone if we needed anything. All of the concierge girls- Mia, Fee- were amazing and helpful. For the next two weeks everytime we walked past the doors we got big smiles and waves. Any of them were willing to help if we wanted to change or need anything with the warmest welcoming smiles and laughs. After unpacking and getting ready for our first evening at the resort we headed to the bar where we met our first friend Kermale. He made the BEST moijitos! But he was more than a good drink maker and warm smile and fun laugh he was good conversation! Brett and I quickly made friends with him and would seek out which bar he was at. We knew whether there was 2 or 20 people at the bar that's where the party was going to be! Over the two weeks we met even more amazing people from entertainment to bartenders to trainees to servers to activities coordinators to front desk to drivers to bell hops to cleaning staff. From breakfast at Verdana being taken care of by the amazing Evelyn and smile bursting Lester the views and yummy food weren't the best part of our mornings. To the after breakfast drink from Tyron at the lobby bar. To drinks by the pool from the sweet Sandy at the pool bar or getting it delivered by the great trainee Sharm. Getting to learn carribean dances, play volleyball, or slide around in the foam party with Keisun, Kimani, Pirate(Richie), Leosha, Akia, and CJ. Who always brought the fun in party from sun up to sun down no matter what. To Finding Edd, Ed, or Kevin at the sport bar. Finding our girl Dee or Donna D at the activity pool or harmony. To Jedi and Holder making rounds making sure everything is running smoothly at the resort and always offering to make drinks behind the bar y'all were some of Brett's favorite to talk to along with Kimani, Keisun, and Kermale. To Winston, Ersking, Edward, Nick, & Godfrey who you'd find at whatever bar we could find them serving up fire drinks, big smiles, and always a good time. We had Iman who always greeted us with a smile at all of our amazing dinners. We truly enjoyed every restaurant we went to and simply didn't have a bad meal. We decided to do a romantic dinner at La Luna and it did NOT disappoint. Our server Gina was amazing and went above and beyond decorating our table with honeymoon decor and treating us so special. Loved the end of the dinner signature Gina pumpkin spice latte. We had Quan and Brad that always took good care of us wherever they were located and we were always greeted with the biggest warmest smile on their faced and towards the end of our stay a drink as they caught onto what we liked and would chat with us when they had the time. Darick we had at silk twice and he took amazing care of us and was so polite and professional. Then we had Cory and Denver at Calabash who again had were so polite and professional while we were dining and gave the best service! And of course always ending with late night food at flip flops our guy Daaz always hooking us up with a smile on his face and a good conversation while we waited for food. Our girls Zier, Chrystal, and Tera took amazing care of us at the salon for our must have ocean side massages and pedicures. Our makeup girls whose name I unfortunately didn't remember because of the craziness of getting wedding ready were flawless and everyone looked so gorgeous. We met kitesurfer Eddie who agreed to get a couple guys to surf behind us at our ceremony and I absolutely can't wait to see the photos captured with these super talked guys behind us while we say I do, and speaking of I do I can NOT rave enough about how easy the wedding process was from planning at home with Sarai to on site planners Onita and Allona everything was absolute perfection. They made sure everything was perfect and easy. They are literally heaven sent and the sweetest women ever who truly just want you to have the perfect day. I'm pretty type b which I think they were like 😳 but they would just laugh when I'd said i don't care whatever you think and they'd get to know me a little bit and do exactly what I would've done. I can't thank either of them enough for my seriously perfect wedding day and welcome dinner. We chose the pearl package so we also got the catamaran. All the staff aboard the catamaran was awesome as well and wish I could've remembered the captain and mates names but I was a little busy taking in breathless views. We did a couple other tours one as a large group of 26 through the resort for the hot spring mud bath, Toraille waterfall, and an authentic carribean lunch at The Beacon. Our tour guide was Spencer and he was amazing dealing with our crazy group! The entire group raved about him and the tour that many were apprehensive to do! Michi and a few others I unfortunately can't recall helped us at the activities desk and were amazing and made it easy working with such a large group! We also did another customized excursion once the group left through jack sparrow on the beach and jimmy was a tour guide who was amazing and so knowledgeable of the island. We took us up to the lighthouse, zip lining, piton waterfall, and snorkeling at the black sand beach and sugar beach with a beautiful ride past the piton, and let us grab lunch at Hotl Chocolate. We had great zip line guides even tho I was shaking they made me feel safe and comfortable and were so knowledgeable of sights we could see and so funny and let us be a fun couple they were Philip and we know the other name starts with a K but can't for the life of us remember as I didn't have my phone until we got back to the bus! Jimmy then even let us eat cacao fresh from the source off a tree! How cool! Then for snorkeling we had captain Ted on the sugar and spice boat who was amazing and funny. Brett had dropped his goggles so we dove to the bottom to get them after several failed attempts by us🤣 highly reccomend doing all the things in st Lucia truly nothing was a disappoint that we did. This island is top tier carribean beauty. Now onto the front desk girls who were always welcoming us with a smile and top tier customer service girlies Zara, Octavia, and Amani always kept things straight and did anything to make guests happy and we couldn't appreciate them more!!! We also made friends with the Scheva who always had a smile on his face whether in the towel hut or working the water slides he was always a pleasure to see. Lastly our housekeeper Karla who kept our room clean fresh and made cute towel animals with gorgeous flowers and surprised us with rose petals on the floor with kissing swabs the night of our wedding. Our room had dreamy views, a beautiful comfy bed, an ice maker for rooms drinks, and always a stocked fridge of pop beer and water! We also made great friends with Kervel the night cleaner who was the absolute sweetest easy to talk to guys. I wanted to just give an extra shoutout to Tari and Ervin who we greeted with hugs and a conversation every day. We can't thank them enough for everything they did for us and our group. They helped our group but the fun in dysfunction 🤣 When they say this island is one of the most Friendly Islands you can go to they are lying! When going somewhere seeing the same people for two weeks on vacation it feels like a lifetime. We may have came to the resort with 70 friends and family but we left with 20+ more. We absolutely can not wait for our next trip to st Lucia to be back with our coconut bay family. A part of our heart will always remain in st Lucia. Blessed to have been around so many amazing locals who helped us feel the purpose of one love 🫶🏼 Attached are photos with as many of our favorite people as we could!

As the title mentions, this is now our 5th stay at Coconut Bay. We love this place. The only update I need to make from my last review (which was our 3rd visit) is that the rooms on the Harmony side have been renovated, (and it appears that they are actively working on the Splash side) and they are beautiful. The bathrooms have all new fixtures, the shower is significantly bigger than previous, and the air conditioning unit is upgraded. The staff at this resort are awesome, and they all deserve a shout out. However, Starz at flip flops is so sweet and happy every day. She even remembered us from a previous visit! Thomas at the Harmony bar remembered what we were drinking and was always so friendly. This place is so wonderful, the food was delicious, staff is fantastic, and the room renovation is beautiful. My only complaint is that my trip is ending tomorrow and I have to go home! Thanks for a wonderful 5th stay Coconut Bay! We are looking forward to our 6th!

Came here on a dinner pass and from security to reception and the Italian restaurant was awesome. Special shout outs to liviana, Zara , Octavia , chard and shera. Thank you for the kind hospitality. Will definitely return

If you thinking of visiting this resort...DO NOT hesitate! We have been to many resorts and this one is top tier for us. We stayed 5 days on Harmony side. The lounge chairs on our side were nice and cozy. We got out about 10am and also ways got our favorite spot with the ocean view. The rooms were updated and very nice, we had third floor which leads directly into the Veranda restaurant, which was great. The food at this resort is good, always options for everyone. We loved the Veranda restaurant and the wings at flip flops. The jerk shack was our go to for lunch. We also visited other side where the Hamburger joint is and they also make fish sandwiches, a beach bar and the cabana rentals. It would have been nice to rent cabana but we went in July and the seaweed was horrible. We didn't get to enjoy the beach at resort but they provide a shuttle bus that takes you to beautiful beach in about 20 minutes. They had security with us and a server that had the cooler with beer, and soda and water. We stayed about 2 hours. The entertainment was ok but nothing that kept us up til late at night. The biggest disappointment was Western Night. We had t-shirts made for the evening and when we arrived the set up was beautiful but the flies killed the vibe. They had flies all over the pork and instead of removing it the manager tells server to turn off the light. But the flies didn't end there, when we got back to table, they had small lanterns on table and you couldn't even put your plate down because the flies would be all over it. We had to leave due to this. Thankfully we made dinner reservations at the Italian restaurant, so we ate good. I hope they fix that issue because the layout of food and desserts were so good. All restaurants are great. Take advantage of massage specials. The resort is well spread out that even though it's a family resort we hardly had interactions with a bunch of kids. One of our best vacations! We have stayed at Beaches Turks and Caicos, El Dorado suites in Mexico, Sonesta adults only resort in St Marteen, and Hard Rock Punta Cana.

Excellent for families. Also an adult area only if u prefer. Clean, excellent food, extremely friendly staff. Wonderful Spa services

Been there 5 times since 2021 and have never been disappointed. Very relaxing spot. Great dining and drinks. Convenient location on St. Lucia.

We visited October 2025 and have booked to return in October 2026. A fantastic hotel with amazing food and loads to do. So easy to get to with the collection at the airport which only takes a few minutes .

7 of us lady friends spent a week here, and it was an outstanding vacation! The resort is lovely and spread out, so that no one area ever felt crowded. The staff were ALL so friendly and accommodating, in every inch of the resort. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. Although we were in the non-yet-renovated rooms, they were extremely clean and everything worked just fine. The food was fresh and delicious: at the buffet, the outdoor snack places, and all the restaurants. Paradise Beach, though not directly in front of the rooms, was a short walk away and very beautiful, with plenty of lounge chairs and shade, and warm turquoise ocean for swimming. Unfortunately, it was too windy to rent kayaks or SUPs, but we enjoyed watching the kite surfers in the late afternoon as they took advantage of the wind. The yoga, Pilates and aqua fitness classes on-site were top notch (thank you, Vernon), as was the nightly entertainment, especially the country music at the BBQ, and also by Shervon Sealy in the lounge lobby - what a voice! Maxwell at the excursion desk went above and beyond, making sure we were able to do all the off-site activities, including one that was not listed. I can't say enough wonderful things, truly a very welcoming atmosphere! If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to offer more off-site activities, particularly with access to more snorkeling areas than were offered. Thank you, Coconut Bay, for a great time!

We usually do adults only but this holiday was our first family vacation - meaning three generations. My research brought me to Coconut Bay Resort & Spa. It had everything I was looking for. Lots of activities for children and an adult side to escape to if we wanted to . We checked the Harmony side out very Zen. Reviews looked amazing ! Very few bad reviews. Here is my review. Our flight out of YYZ went off without any delays arriving at Hewanorra Airport . We filled out our pre check in info and were quickly on our way to CBR. The best part min 8 min drive after a 5 hour flight that should be the reason to book here ! Room We had booked 2 rooms Splash King Premium Ocean view. First impression dated . Bathroom tiny but manageable .Very Clean and large. Two large clothes closets one with safe inside (never a problem with its mechanics) Many drawers. Loads of room for this heavy packer :).Balcony small rail for bathing suits, heavy wooden chairs ,time spent out there minimal so no bother. We overlooked the lazy river/waterslides with a glimpse of the ocean hence ..view. We were placed on the third floor there is an elevator and stairs . Main Lobby Large the hub of the resort Coffee Shop Buffet Reservation Desk(dinner resos) Activities Desk Front Desk Sundry Store Lobby Bar Night Time Entertainment Stage Dining Buffet We used this for breakfast and 1 lunch Lots of options anything you can think of is here ! Marys' Egg station Kids Corner Made to order Eggs Benedict Crepe Station Smoothie Bar Coffee Shop as you enter Fresh Fruit Fresh Coconut Water 10 out of 10 for this buffet and I have been to a few ! Ala Cartes We did not book Concierge so was a bit worried we would not get in to the ala cartes .There was no problem . So not sure what the other benefits are to this room class other than being on the fourth floor and free beach bag and snacks to me after looking back not needed. The dinner reservation desk is in the lobby opens at 8 never a line up maybe one person ahead I'm up anyways . Here is my review of the dining/food options that we used. Silk We dined here twice Asian Sushi as appies the kids used this as their mains Service spot on. Offered a signature beverage on arrival. My grandson was surprised with a cake and all the servers singing" Happy Birthday to You "Caribbean style! Enjoyed both dinners here. Trattoria Italian again offered signature drink Italian is always a go to for young children. They have kids menus at all the ala cartes our grandchildren are not fussy eaters their mom is a chef so will eat anything . Again no complaints. Calabash Rerun again great service lots of menu options . No complaints. Theme Nights One night was country and Western and one Caribbean/St Lucian night. this served poolside buffet style. Lots of stations. Meat carving ,veg, salads etc. Both nights had great entertainment I had no idea about the love of country music the Lucians have excellent singers dancing . Lunch offerings We mostly ate at Flip Flops . The fresh salads were delish burgers, fries, nachos loads of choices. My husband and I ate at the buffet the last day and again anything you want .I enjoyed a fresh salad and pasta made to order . Jerk Hut Found at the main pool amazing jerk rice and beans . In summarizing the dining options here a good 9. No one in our family experienced any digestive issues one of the main reasons for choosing this resort as opposed to a DR or Mexico property for family . Entertainment The best I have encountered . They had singers in the main lobby most nights that were very good. From duets to an older gentleman who was amazing to a Sade type singer. Karaoke My grandson belted out his rendition of Three Little Birds after dinner one night ! I saw the daytime entertainment staff which hosted Bingos, Lazy River Races etc. also participating in the evening shows .By the end of our vacation they called my grandchildren by name . You will not be bored here trust me. Paradise Beach We rented Cabanas her twice half day four adults 2 children 99.00 included lunch, drink service. This is a must do if you can. Our grandson age 7 loved the waves and our grand daughter age 4 was busy building sand castles. The Beach is the only draw back here not swimmable resort side . Paradise beach better but not my thing . The dreaded Sargassum is here in full force . You can't control nature. It was a non problem for me. The resort is on top of it a tractor was cleaning it up . Some vacations are pool holidays and some beach this was a pool for me but my grandkids loved paradise beach. POOLS SLIDES LAZY RIVER This was sealed the deal in booking ! Main pool great for little ones beach like entry lots of islands and seating in the pool. We only used this as we had young children with us. Never a problem for seating always chairs if you want the shaded area you might want to reserve depending if there are large groups and you have babies. Because as I said we usually do Adults only a thought came to me... Kids aren't up at 6am to reserve "their" chair they don't care. You could always find chairs. Slides The main attraction for my 7 year old grandson he must have gone down those slides can't count how many times. Grandma is not a slide person but Pops is and Dad they have the bruised elbows to prove it lol. Lazy River We all enjoyed this ! Bars Lobby Bar This has the best choice for premium drinks. We did not enjoy the theme night bar choices/labels. Swim Up Bar The grandkids loved this my grandson drank his weight in virgin pina coladas and my grand daughter loved the Powder Puff . All the frozen drinks both alcoholic and not were enjoyed by our family. The bartender here realized my grand daughter loved the cherries with stems and loaded her up :) Sports Bar All sports streamed here. Pool Table ping pong Excursions We found the famous Jack Sparrow and he hooked us up with CULTURE for a day of Lucian culture I have a separate review of that day posted so won't go into that here but def worth it ! In closing we had an amazing memory making holiday here come you will not be disappointed !
