Beach Terrace

Absolutely amazing stay! The location was perfect, the hotel was spotless, and every detail exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly, the rooms were incredibly clean, and the overall experience was flawless. Highly recommend—will definitely be returning!

Lovely updated modern beach feel in my corner beachfront room. Really an amazing experience to hear the ocean all night. Felt very safe staying in Carlsbad and traveling solo. The restaurants were all within walking distance and incredible. I parked my vehicle in their converted parking space and never needed it. I enjoyed the quality and variety of the free daily breakfast which felt thoughtful and upscale. I would definitely stay again! I extended my stay two nights because it was so hard to leave the blissful paradise of the Beach Terrace vibe!

Big room, comfortable bed, great view, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, attention to detail, and some nice amenities. Overall, a terrific stay.

A/C, heating unit was uncomfortably loud.

Clean, close to the ocean. You could sit at different parts of the property and still see the ocean. With in walking distance to downtown. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to charge my Tesla. The bed was so comfortable.

For the 3rd straight visit I've booked their most expensive room (Oceanfront Corner King), asked for one of these rooms on the South side of the property, and been given the SAME ROOM, each time, on the north side of the property. - Room 23. While this room technically "fits" the Oceanfront Corner King category, the wifi is a joke because it doesn't reach that room well, the telephones to call the main desk haven't worked in the last two times (years) we've been sentenced to this beautiful dungeon, and you can't even call the front desk on your cel phone because the cel service in the area is thin (both Verizon and ATT). If you need to communicate with anyone else in the world during your visit, don't let then put you in room 23.

Loved having our own balcony and to hear the surf .. Room was large and comfortable..

We love everything about this hotel! Right on the beach! Amazing rooms, spectacular virws, tasty food! Walking distance from shopping and restaurants. And the staff is very friendly!
