Villablanca Garden Beach Hotel

We've stayed here many times. The facilities have not been updated in 20 years. Our air-conditioning unit stopped working 3 times although the staff were prompt in fixing it. Nora at the desk was friendly and helpful but the facility is dated and uncomfortable. We moved to another place after 2 nights.We primarily chose it for its convenient location for scuba diving. But we will not be staying there again.

The location is good for school diving it’s easy to get the boat out to the reef that it’s just in front of the hotel and there’s about five or six Dave shops within walking distance

The property is not well taken care of it’s a nice place old but could be better if they would maintain it there is no fresh coffee in the morning they tell you that they in there will be but there’s not and stuff like that you know it’s just that the owner is so tired and they don’t really put a lot of time and effort into keeping the place going

Other than the doors not locking properly it was a nice stay. Restaurants are walkable as well as shopping, diving and ocean view

I loved the rooms/property. Everything was really beautiful and very well kept.

Just the i total check in process. The lady hands you a bunch of rules that you need to sign (fine- but she doesn’t do it in a very nice way but then verbally runs through the WiFi password and where to refill water. I was overwhelmed with remembering the rules that I forgot everything else as soon as I left. It took me two days to figure out how to refill the water which I then found out there was complimentary coffee provided (a nice touch but would have been great to know).

Its a great value and very quiet. Set off the street is peaceful but still across the street from the water.

An older hotel, but the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice. Staff were friendly and generally helpful.

It's a little far from the town center but not too bad a cab ride. Having an actual sit-down restaurant even for breakfast would have been nice, but at least they provided coffee and water.

Beautiful grounds, and a wonderful staff.

A great property and great staff!!! We choose the panoramic penthouse and it was great!! Private huge balcony, huge living space and bedroom!! The beach across the street was great.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and better priced than the nearby properties. The ladies in the reception were also very kind and helpful during our stay.

We would have liked the jacuzzi to have been heated but it was the same temp as the pool.
