The rooms were very comfortable and a walk from the downtown area. The staff was beyond kind and helpful!

This inn was very nice and close to Bowdoin. The property had self check in and was easy to get in and out. The tavern was warm and welcoming with a small and limited menu but the food was very good. We stayed during the off season and the property was very quiet. The staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful.

Exceptional service from staff and the quality of the food at dinner and breakfast were a delightful surprise. Rooms were classically beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The radiator heating was great and on the warm-side for sure. Would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, the self checkin didn’t work. The signin code did not work, hence I was stuck at 11:40 pm and forced to find a backup room

A lovely restored 1839 mansion with beautiful individually furnished rooms and a fabulous ground floor bar, living room & dining room. Would definitely go back.

Very cute hotel, room was clean and decorated really nice. We also enjoyed the bar at night and the breakfast in the morning. If we are in the area we would stay there again.

Lovely inn conveniently located. Room was beautiful and comfortable all around. Cute pub on first floor with fireplace and great bar selection and small plates. Breakfast in the light filled dining room was also excellent. Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming.

This was last stop in our 10 day honeymoon trip. 165 was the perfect closeout. Choice to stay at 165 was how close you were to the train. We had lots of luggage and you were kind and held it while we toured town. Tell Curtis he made our stay special. Breakfast was one of the best even after being on a 6 day cruise. No doubt we will stay with you when we visit the area soon. We noticed and appreciated all the special considerations. Bill & Diane
