The staff is stellar. The rooms are pristine and comfortable. The breakfast offerings are fresh and reasonable. Excellent location for Bowdoin or local restaurants. And try Gelato Fiasco down Maine Street. You won't be sorry. Best gelato.

Beautiful space. Comfortable and very special. The rosemary and truffle cashews were out of this world!

What a fantastic hotel - very tastefully fitted out, great food and drink options, in a very convenient location and the people working there were so friendly and happy. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Lovely historic inn

Traveling from West Texas. Fantastic stop on our tour of Maine. Charming historic house with a great variety of rooms. We enjoyed a great breakfast served by Sarah who was fantastic! Benedict, hash, blueberry pancakes and homemade blueberry jam. Definitely a must stop if you are in the area! Wish we had longer to stay.

If I could give higher than a 5, I would. Such a delightful stay at an outstanding inn! No pricing gimmicks as another local hotel does. When you see your rates and fees before booking, you won't have any heavy duty last minute fees added in. AND, 165 still provides daily housekeeping services, almost a thing of the past! Comfy beds, great bar and pub, and a homey porch with an added touch of blankets and sheepskin on every chair for cool evenings. Perfect! Thanks so much! Anna Breinich
