Crown Beach Resort & Spa

We stayed here in one of the poolside villas. This is a adult only resort. The rooms have plenty of space for two. The pool is large and has a waterfall flowing into it. The service and staff is fantastic, nothing is to much trouble. The staff look happy in their work. We had a meal there one nite, bar snacks and cocktails another night. Both were very good.

This is our second stay here. It’s very comfortable and the staff are incredibly obliging. The facilities are great and bike hire, vehicle rental places are nearby.

The beach isn’t as great as some others but it’s fine.

We have just concluded a renewal of vows and 25th wedding anniversary at Crown Beach Resort for our international clients — who were originally married in the Cook Islands 25 years ago. Choosing the right venue for such a meaningful celebration was important, and Crown Beach Resort delivered beautifully. The absolute beachfront ceremony location is simply stunning. The sunsets are breathtaking, and the setting creates the perfect backdrop for an intimate and romantic event. One of the reasons we selected this resort was their flexibility in allowing out-house guests to hold their celebration at the resort — something not all properties in Rarotonga accommodate — and this made a significant difference for our clients. Beyond the location, the experience itself was exceptional. The food was delicious, the pina coladas were a favourite, and the atmosphere throughout the stay felt relaxed yet refined. What truly elevated the entire experience, however, was the staff — particularly the dedicated events team. Special mentions to Vani, Jone, and Ia Fainoa, whose gracious, thoughtful, and supportive assistance on the day ensured everything unfolded seamlessly. Their professionalism, warmth, and collaborative spirit made the event effortless to deliver. From the kitchen crew to the bar staff, every team member contributed to a celebration that our clients will treasure forever. Perfect place to get away. Quiet, scenery beautiful, food excellent, friendly very helpful staff. Room clean and had everything we needed. Loved this resort so much we are booked to go back 2026 and making it our annual holiday together for our downtime.
