Lighthouse Hotel - Key West Historic Inns

The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly

Staff was great especially Jefferson and Alejandro the bartenders.

Room was a tad small but was comfortable

Only thing was our bed/pillows in room 22 were not great.

It’s not the big fancy hotel with all the bells & whistles but that’s exactly why we booked it. We felt like we were there all by ourselves- like we were in a room:house away from the world. Our 01 room was the best- private porch, shaded, & bricked patio was great. The pool is small but we didn’t go to stay in the pool. The location was perfect to Duval street, many top notch eateries, lighthouse & Hemingway house.

Maybe no real vending machines- but we got waters on Duval at circle K

Loved the charm, location and overall ambiance of this inn! Our room had a porch that was great for a gathering spot. Within walking distance to everything fun in Key West. The desk staff was very accomadating, bartenders make a great rum runner! If you are a pool person, this may not be the right place for you as it is small and busy. We aren't, so it was a nice feature to look at while we ate breakfast every morning.

The 5 am roosters ... I made a suggestion to the front desk to purchase a few sound machines that could be checked out during the stay, with a deposit. We were told they are protected and nothing can be done about them but sound machines could help.. 5 am is early for a vacation alarm!
