Super cute and convenient!

Perfect place to stay when visiting our UVA student. The staff was excellent and a great experience all around.

It’s definitely old with peeling paint and could use some new carpets. Television wasn’t working and no assistance was available. I feel I should have been compensated in some way. It would be nice to have coffee/ tea maker in room and an ice machine available. Bed was comfortable and manager helped with our luggage. Breakfast was okay nothing special but waitress was great!

This place is so charming and beautiful! Vanessa, the inn keeper is thoughtful and caring. She took the initiative and reserved me a table for breakfast at the restaurant on site. She walked me to my room and gave me a warm welcome.

The Dinnsmore House was such a great alternative to a hotel. Personable and attentive staff, beautiful luxurious room and great location!

This property is so unique, close to everything. Lots of coffee shops n parks in walkable distance. Breakfast is included in a wonderful attached restaurant. Also, the caretaker of property greets you upon arrival and ensures all needs are met during your stay.

I stayed one night for business. The staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to welcome me and facilitate my stay. The bed was a dream, so comfortable. The bathroom was a bit tight and might be a little difficult for a larger person to maneuver around the door. The sink was also half covered by the shelf above it. Really nice bath products! Bathroom floor could use a deep clean, but sink, toilet, and shower, were very clean. As mentioned on the website, this room (the Madison room), is directly up the stairs from the restaurant, so if you're a light sleeper, it could be hard to sleep in after 8am. Breakfast was ok, but the service was good. The amount of real maple syrup (for an extra charge) with my waffle was laughable. I actually laughed when I saw it. Very convenient to UVA hospital and UVA campus (grounds). Included garage parking is a bonus.
