Express Inn - Bay City

This hotel is nice and the pool area is kept clean. The only thing is it needs chairs and tables or something for guest to lounge in by the pool.

Not to much to go in area.

I can start by saying I stay at a lot of 2 star motels due to having to travel for work. I'm usually pretty forgiving when it comes to condition and cleanliness of these kinds of properties. One gets what they pay for, right? Check in was easy and the staff friendly. The room spacious with a desk The big issue is roaches, the room I was in and most likely all the rooms are infested They were in the nightstand and could see them out in the open The morning after my stay two of them crawled out of my luggage, I don't even want to take my suitcase into my home without disinfecting the entire piece. It was a truly nauseating experience. STAY AWAY! Spend the extra few dollars and get a nicer place Thanks for reading

Room had a bad smell. Sheets were stained. Electrical outlet did not have a cover. Free breakfast amounted to nothing. Had to leave to get breakfast. However employees friendly

I had set up a reservation a few hours before I arrived at the hotel. Once I got there the guy in the front is rude telling me that there’s no reservation under my name I show him my reservation email and still doesn’t help at all. He tells me well I haven’t received anything so I can’t boom you a room. I just left I had to go a find a different Hotel it took me about an hour and 45 minutes to te settled in. I was tired, hungry and it just made it worse I’m out. Of town working long hours so I was hoping for a great experience. I’m not sure who’s fault was it Expedia or The Hotel???

We had to leave snd make reservations elsewhere. The room was very unclean snd unsafe. The smoke alarm was in operable not even mounted in room and laying on a shelf on room. Roaches in bathroom area electrical plugs broken filthy conditions made it impossible for us to stay.We are requesting a full refund

Bed were comfortable but nothing to do in this town

Filthy, disgusting roach motel! Had to buy towels and blankets at local Wal-Mart.

The nice hotels in town were sold out, so we opted to stay here. The manager told us the room was non smoking, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. We went and bought febreeze and it helped some, but when we got in the car the next day, the smell had permeated the suitcase and made our car stink also. The walls were thin enough that we heard the person next door snoring all night......over the sound of his TV. The bathroom had hair all over the place.... bathtub, floors, and shower curtain. The towels were the roughest I have ever dried off with. Needless to say, we didn't try the breakfast.

Staff was pleasant at check in. Room was missing the door knob on the bathroom door. Mildew on the ceiling in the shower. Shady characters hanging out on the property at all hours of the day and night. Worth the price for a work trip.
