There was only a dirty sponge and dishcloth. If they’d supplied a clean one it would’ve been great. So would basic supplies-oil, sugar, salt and pepper.
NZWe were met at the airport by the staff who kindly gave us a lei on arrival and brought us to our accommodation. There is a lovely see view from the balcony and walking distance into the main town. The accommodation has great facilities and Paulina had been so helpful from day one of booking. Thanks for our stay.

USPaulina was likely the very best host I've ever had. She was so responsive and helpful. We took her advice on everything on the island (eg tour guide, car rental, restaurants, etc) and she was spot on every single time.

USPaulina the host was very attentive in everything from sending the invitation to checking up every couple of days to see if anything was needed via WhatsApp. My room was a Seaside View room.The location is right next to the sea, I was able to capture the Milky Way and sun sets right from the balcony. Lodge was clean, hot water, WiFi. Working kitchen with stove, fridge and dishes. Within walking distance to Hanga Roa.
That fact that I didn’t stay longer.
USWonderful proprietor and associate who picked us up and dropped us off at airport. Paulina was extremely helpful with paperwork to visit RapaNui. And she was very responsive when propane tank went empty so hot water. Fixed quickly. Staff were the best! Rustic, but comfortable accommodations. Nice seaview from balcony. Generally quiet location away from main street. Yes, Hanga Roa has many roosters and unleashed dogs. Both have their moments crowing and barking, but not really a problem. The dogs are mellow and enjoying just enjoying the island life. Nice to have refrigerator for food and drinks. (Great grocery store nearby). Nice to have two bedrooms (one queen and a bunk bed)
Cleaning agents had strong fragrance, which I had difficulty adjusting to. No space heating or cooling, but blankets were nice and comfortable. No screens on windows, but that seems typical on the island. Not enough towels and the ones we had shed a lot. Pauline brought more, but need to be replaced altogether. Hot water only in shower so washing dishes required resourcefulness. A small microwave to reheat the amazing local empanadas would be good. All in all, I'd stay there again, but likely not my city-boy husband.
