USUSThey were kind enough to meet us at the airport and transport us to the property. We felt very cared for and settled as soon as we arrived.
US* Host Paulina was helpful, communicating often 1-2 weeks ahead, and efficiently provided us with the important PDI immigration paperwork needed for Rapa Nui * being met at the airport * Place was comfortable * A five minute walk to the shoreline * A 15 minute walk into town and grocery store * Local tour operators easily found us each morning * WiFi - albeit slow * Kitchen was handy !
* Spouse expected a hair dryer, so you'll want to pack one * The four burner, electric stove top had no markings so it took some time to map each control to each burner * TV streaming (OK, we're news junkies) was marginal but we coped; my guess is that the Starlink dish atop the building was stretched to capacity servicing the other rooms and WiFi needs. * The local dogs are easily triggered into bouts of barking, so light sleepers may want to pack ear plugs (it didn't bother me, but did bother our son).
OMPaulina is so accomodating. She knew I was alone and she pick me up and took me to the airport. The room that I booked has a sea view. It's nice to hear and see the ocean. She also gave me towel cause I didnt bring one.
CAPaulina was so lovely and helpful during our stay. Facilities were great and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Also loved being greeted by the neighbour's very sweet dogs every time we returned. Would stay here again if lucky enough to return to Rapa Nui in the future!
DETo be honest, our stay was absolutely amazing. Not only for the island being so incredible but also to our apartment and Paulina was the absolute best host you could wish for. She helped us with organizing the whole stay and even picked us up from the airport. 10/10 would recommend!!!
GBLocation is great and Pauli was super nice in helping us organizing our time in rapa nui Also the bunk bed in the second room is quite big and confortable for adults (110cm probably)
The place doesnt have mosquito nets and gets super hot at night so its impossibile to sleep with the window closed resulting in dozen of bites. Not great in a place with Dengue.
THE BALCONY, THE VIEW, IS SUPER
USPauli and team were fantastic. We had a lovely ciew of the sunsets from our balcony. Location was also very good, as the Main Street was just a short walk away.
WiFi is weak, so be prepared with booked and movies already downloaded!

Some basic items are missing at the kitchen like cutting board, frying pan. Floor was dirty. Overall apartment could be arranged in a more cozy way. There was no cleaning
