Mad Monkey Gili Trawangan

Everyone was super nice, they took care of everything. People was nice. But it was a bit out of season so all the happenings were on the other side of the island. But it’s a nice bike ride. I just think if you take a private tent it’s not really worth the money.. so maybe in that case book the whole dormitory if possible (I’ve seen one and it was super nice). Otherwise great place.

It was a really nice and enjoyable hostel—we had a great time. The room’s AC was especially cold and perfect. If you want to socialize and meet new people, this is the place to come.

J’ai adoré mon séjour au Mad Monkey à Gili T ! 🌴✨ Je recommande à fond cet hostel, l’ambiance est incroyable : que des jeunes super gentils, plein d’activités tous les jours, impossible de s’ennuyer. Le staff est top, ils te mettent vraiment à l’aise, surtout si tu voyages seul(e) et que tu veux rencontrer du monde. 💛 Les chambres sont propres, la wifi fonctionne bien, on mange et on boit super bien… et surtout, on danse ! 💃🕺 Je leur souhaite plein de bonnes choses pour la suite, merci pour tous ces bons moments 🥰

Stayed at the hostel for 4 nights and had the greatest time here. I felt so welcome by the entire mad monkey team and also met so many new people, some of which also became friends eventually. Also the food and drinks here are very good - I ate here almost all the time and also had great fun with the serving team. Especially Izzy did take good care of me during my stay, making sure I wasn't missing out on anything and getting everything I needed to recover after partying lol

Great hostel with very friendly staff! They promote different activities to help people connect with each other, which you’ll have so much fun. The only slight downside is that the hostel is located on the opposite side of the island, away from the bars and nightclubs. But since you’ll probably rent a bike or scooter, it won’t be a problem. I highly recommend Mad Monkeys in Gili T!
