Location and parking

Computer system was down the entire stay. I tried 3 rooms before getting the right one and one was occupied. Their system being down made it very old school paper to keep track of people, purchase anything and the ice cream was melted inside the hard dove chocolate shell.

The room was great. Spacious, very clean, bed was comfortable.

The constant humming sound from the unit outside my window. Never no more

The staff was amazing!!!!

I didnt realiize the pull out sofa was a twin size. I had to sleep on the floor because there was 4 in my party.

The location is right in the middle of Silver Spring. It was a few blocks from the Fillmore, the concert venue I attended. The staff were really friendly. If you park on the fifth floor of the garage, there is a walkway right into the hotel. Parking was reasonable.

There are two elevators, one to your room and one really slow one to exit to the street. The bistro for breakfast and coffee was fine, but service was a little slow when busy because the employees were stuck making more complicated coffee drinks. Silver Spring seems like nothing but chain stores.

The staff are terrific, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are fine. Quite comfortable. That said, we are staying here two weekends in a row for a film festival. Last weekend I returned late and found that the battery on my door needed to be replaced for me to get in the room. Time consuming when I wanted to go to sleep. Finally fixed and I could go to bed. Tonight, the first night of a two night stay, it happened AGAIN. Different room. Exact same thing. Super annoying! Please replace the lock batteries in all of your rooms.
