Highland Manor Inn

The hotel is in a quiet setting with large grounds. It's on the main highway through Townsend, but very quiet. The rooms 220-229 are on the second floor on the really quiet backside of the building. Parking is right in front of your door. Very clean and neat. Comfortable bed and plenty of water pressure in the shower. Breakfast is only Continental, but there is a pancake house right across the street. Some rooms have a balcony with chairs.

We lived in Townsend Laurel Valley till after the fires. After we moved we always said that if we came back we would try Highland Manor. The location is high on a hill with a great mountain view. The room was excellent and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The TV was excellent. Shower was hot. Plenty of storage. Breakfast was excellent. The young lady at the desk was very efficient and nice to deal with and between you and me was also very nice to look at. Most of all it was quiet at night. We've stayed at most of the hotels in Townsend and Highland has them all beat. We will be back soon. Thank you Highland Manor for a great 5 star stay.

Mattresses and pillows need updating

Everything was good.

We went to relax on the peaceful side of the Smoky Mountains —-great location to the Cades Cove area —easy to get in and out plenty of off street parking can park right at your door to your room—our room was excellent clean and comfortable beds —landscaping was beautiful so well kept—

It was very clean, quiet location away from the heavy traffic of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

The only things that I would prefer to change would be an earlier breakfast time since we like to get out early. A higher toilet seat would be nice.
