Highland Manor Inn

Nice, clean, good beds.

When we arrived, we were told we owed an additional 3% TN tax, which mysteriously added up to $23 on a room price of $109. After much back and forth, we declined to pay and we recommend Booking.com and the Inn clarify this issue so other visitors won’t have to go through this. Breakfast was not till 8AM which we found to be way too late and had to skip as we had planned an early hike.

Beautiful location and grounds.

Room had a damp musty smell. When I called to complain, a call center picked up. I was told that my concerns would be forwarded to someone who would call me. A return call never happened.

Staff was perfect, great people, they were considerate and kind. The hotel is exactly what is needed if you are to have a Quiet and relaxing time in the Smokey Mountains. Breakfast is simple and free- really enjoyed it. If needed there is a "full, grand breakfast" option in walking distance (it's right there) as well as a riverside restaurant as well.

Not really much. The room was just a bit dated but perfectly fine. If super modern is your minimum denominator; then go pay and complain elsewhere!

Needs to be updated. Condensation every morning on the window caused water to leak into the room.
