Campanile Runcorn

Easy check in and clean room, but looking a bit tired.

This property was one down from pontins. It was really run down and the reception part was like a toilet block. Not nice at all. We were in the middle of a busy trading estate. I’d avoid. Came here with my girlfriend, we won’t be back again!!

I stayed here , staff are friendly , but there is nothing nearby except a train station , When someone who doesn’t know Runcorn at all you are limited to where you can go when you are a pedestrian. Also if you go by car make sure you put your car registration in at reception otherwise you will get a parking fine I’m not happy by partner got one , as reception was shut when he got there . So please be mindful .

Booked a twin room and was given a double. Not really suitable for a 50 year old mom & her 17 year son. Went back to reception but they only had a double.

A very basic room on arrival the room was very dusty on the walk to the reception outside very messy and maintenance needs doing around the property morning breakfast staff were very nice

It is what it is. People who take a pop at it are just moaning for the sake of it. You get what you pay for. The campanile to my minds eye goes above and beyond. I've been working in Widnes for past 6 weeks. I request to stay here as its convenient and the staff are great. The breakfasts set you up for the day, beds are comfy. Showers are hot. Although with some rooms, their toilets take some flushing, but hey if that's all it is. We will get by and return.
