The Evers House

This B&B has no staff present. When calling for assistance with the phone number provided, no one replied back and the voicemail shut off after 10 seconds when leaving a message and needed to call back again with no response after second message. It actually called the "sister property." Description online mentioned an outdoor pool and spa, none on the premises. No guidance on that it may be on their "sister" property a mile away. If you want to just open doors with a keypad and be on your own, this is a great place to stay. In all the B&Bs I have stayed at you meet the owners. On a good note, the room is well kept and the decor. The bed was heavenly. Overall. Not bad, but the website made it look much different than what you actually see in person.

Loved it! Will definitely be coming back for a weekend getaway.

Amazing

We have stayed at Evers House a few times in the last month due to business in Fredericksburg. It is in the best location! Just steps off main street. It's so cute, peaceful and quiet. It's a large house with a common kitchen, which would typically scare me to read, but it's very private. Each room has a name plate and a keypad with code. The kitchen is adorable. We stayed in The Seventh Heaven and Bliss Suites. The Seventh Heaven is huge and has great french doors to the outside. The bathtub is "heavenly". Bliss is great too. We were just in and out that time so we got something smaller. I had already messed up our rooms with all of our things before I thought to take a pic of them. They are EXACTLY what they look like online. Breakfast is delivered to your door at 8am. The first time we were there it was oatmeal and fruit, an egg, ham and cheese sandwich, a muffin and orange juice. The second time was a quiche with hollandaise sauce, yogurt and berries, a pastry and orange juice. Very good! The only thing that I didn't love is the coffee but that's just my preference. They have a Keurig in the room and in the kitchen. It's very convenient but they only have the little creamers that sit out. I am not a fan. I love real half and half. 1st world problem! :-) The check in process is easy. On the day you check in (early afternoon) they send you the code to the front and back doors and then to your suite. There is not any staff on property. We didn't mind a bit. We will definitely be staying there again and I'd love to try their sister property, The Winchester Lodge. Thanks Evers for two great stays!

Close to everything, safe,clean,quiet and contactless check in is great for people who are easily socially exhausted

Excellent location, breakfast and accomodations. Plenty of on site parking, there is a pool area in the sister compound as well as that's where you do the check in. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The AC unit works phenomenal and the bed is super comfortable. You also have a microwave and a fridge. You are withing walking distance from museums, restaurants , shops, food trucks, wineries you name it co.e.and check this place out.

Lovely historic home converted to small B&B. Location is perfect for exploring downtown Fredericksburg or visiting the Pacific War museum. Breakfast was delivered to our door each morning. The room was small but comfortable. We will stay at Evers House again!

Evers House is a beautiful historic home. Our room had high ceilings and original hardwood floors. The bed was super comfortable, the ac worked great, good water pressure in the shower, plenty of towels, quiet and private. We loved the breakfast in the picnic basket by our door every morning, the shady front porch, and hanging out by the fire pit under the big oak tree. Dedicated free parking for guests, 1 block to Main St Fredericksburg, we walked everywhere and rarely needed our car. We would definitely stay there again.
