The Vanderbilt, Auberge Collection

We had a wonderful time staying at The Vanderbilt! It is such a beautiful hotel, with the most welcoming and friendly staff. I had a few special requests due to traveling with my 9 month old daughter, and they were happy to accommodate them all. We will definitely be returning!

We cannot say enough good things about the experience we had at this hotel. It's hard to even call it a hotel because by the end of our 3 day stay, it felt like home and the staff felt like family when we said goodbye. I travel a lot and can truly say the experience the staff here provided was top notch! As soon as we booked the trip, Morgan scheduled a call to talk through our plans and help create an itinerary to maximize our stay. Just this in itself made the trip magical. I typically spend days perfecting our trips to a new destination and she did it all for us. We had the best table at every restaurant she reserved and everyone had a special treat for our daughter who was there celebrating her 10th birthday. Five Stars no question about it!!!!

I stayed in the loft room . I used the down stairs bedroom as a yoga room . In the morning it had a perfect View of the church. The room setup was perfect . It gave some privacy, One person can be upstairs napping, and the other one could be quietly reading or watching TV in the sitting room.

Amazing hotel and location. Beautiful room, close to shopping, dinning, sightseeing, sailing and beaches. Restaurant in hotel was amazing. The ribeye and steamer's were excellent. Warm salt water pool really hit the spot. Friendliest staff in Newport

Best hotel stay I’ve ever had, they really thought of everything. It was beautiful and in the perfect location. I loved eating in the conservatory. We frequently used the valet service and it was quick and friendly each time. I went to the spa and had a great massage by Randi.

The most lovely hotel and experience we could imagine. We loved the hotel, the amenities and especially the service. We will definitely be back and would not stay anywhere else. The service was so exceptional that I immediately started looking for other Auberge resorts for our future travel.

We had the most fabulous time at The Vanderbilt!! The team is so on top of it and everyone is very attentive and friendly. I would without a doubt send any and every client to The Vanderbilt. The team showed us how much there is to do in the town and it was so much fun. I have been to Newport multiple times but never had this time of experience. Thank you !!!

Warm and quaint historical mansion centrally located for easy accessibility to nearby attractions. Impeccably attentive staff, delicious food and drink. I have only been to Newport once but I would never be able to stay anywhere else when I return.

The whole team - from the valet to reception to the servers (and of course, Morgan!) - were excellent. I felt so well cared for. The room was lovely and charming and the bed was dreamy. Thanks to Raphael and the whole Vanderbilt team for a memorable stay.

Unique historic hotel, great location, lovely suite, wonderful service. Breakfast menu was great, enjoyable; dinner at The Dinning Room was stylish, service was great and personal, and an excellent alternative from the usual seafoods at the Wharf. Would definitely stay there again next time in the area.
