Carousel Hotel

The food, entertainment and location was great. Staff were extremely helpful. Bed was very uncomfortable but we mentioned it to reception and another mattress was put on bed

No electric sockets by bed and mattress was hard but mattress was sorted.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. The staff are friendly but could do with some training. The rooms are really clean but could do with a little maintenance, they are perfectly serviceable. A couple of older staff are a bit arsey but the younger ones are super keen. the housekeeping staff are brilliant. The cleanliness is really good

Windows on front whistle when it’s windy, there was a couple of holes in the wall in the room. The WiFi was a little patchy but speedy when it worked. Just needs a bit of maintenance. But is very good on most parts. You can hear the entertainment a bit loud in the rooms

Bed was a bit soft

Location was great, free parking on the street out the front and great entertainment provided. Breakfast was lovely and the bed was comfortable.

Only one lift was working which isn’t good when most people staying were elderly.

Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, stepping distance from the beach and tramway, stunning views. Attended a wedding which was very well catered and staffed, lovely light space and private function room.

Top floor in a heatwave - room was like a sauna!
