Location is convenient and staffs are friendly

They charged more price than what was shown or emailed by Booking.com and rooms were not close for family to stay comfortably

Lots of construction outside you can’t hear it but it’s a nuisance to walk around Breakfast could have more variety

I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights in July 2025. The location is excellent — most major attractions are within easy walking distance. The price is reasonable, the rooms are very comfortable, and the daily breakfast offers a good variety that changes from day to day.

Second trip to Vientiane and decided to stay w Surestay instead of others. Location is a plus, next to the night market, walkable to the Night food street and eating places nearby. Well maintained hotel with a front desk, very friendly staff(all over the hotel), gym and a good breakfast spread that changes everyday. Room is comfy and big and we had a room facing the night market and Mekong River. Noisy, yes as the music from the night market filters in and room comes with fridge and safe. As we had a room on the high floor, every night when the rooftop bar closes it irritates with the noise of dragging chairs and tables that goes on for like 10-minutes. Room is tidy except the floor is never swept clean. We have been staying for 7-nights, into the 8th as I'm writing this review and the dirt from the mud outside as it has been raining is still on the floor next to the main door, the stains in the toilet vanity top are still visible, and the pencil that had dropped since day 3 is still lying on the floor under the side table. What more, they never refilled the writing pad nor the tea bags and coffee sachets. Finally the coffee at breakfast from the coffee machine is never hot. I would have given 5-star rating if not for those issues for our 1-week stay that seemed to have gone unnoticed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Vientiane. The location is fantastic—within walking distance of everything you might need, from convenience stores and a wide range of restaurants to the vibrant night markets and stunning Mekong River views. The staff were outstanding: professional, kind, and consistently attentive. They went out of their way to assist with anything we needed, whether it was transport or local directions. Our rooms were immaculate—very spacious, ideal for couples, with a tidy bathroom and impressively strong shower pressure (a rare and welcome treat in Laos!). One of the highlights was the view from our room, overlooking the lively streets and the Mekong. Breakfast was a real treat, featuring a delicious buffet as well as an à la carte menu with fresh, made-to-order options. The on-site amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop bar was the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings without having to leave the hotel—especially appreciated in the summer heat—and the café downstairs made grabbing a morning coffee so convenient. The rooftop bar staff were a joy—full of energy, smiles, and warmth. Their cheerful presence added to the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. All in all, we felt the value was excellent for the price, and we would absolutely stay here again.
