Front desk closed early...what's up with that?

Compact, convenient to Old Town and restaurants.

It's a little dated. Also, picture of the pool on Booking is a little misleading. Wasn't that big or luxurious.

Location was good, one mile walk to fashion square area.

Villa had a strange odor to it. Told them and someone came out and spread stuff on the carpeting. Supposedly someone else came out and vacuumed it up but we did not see them. The musky odor did not go away.

The bathtub shower set up. The very modern nightstands snd thermostat upstairs and/or no bathroom upstairs. Cleaners came on days not supposed to but not on day we were told they’d be there.

The only good thing about this resort is the location. Just a few minutes from Old Town and restaurants and shopping.

RUDE AND UNWELCOMING FRONT DESK STAFF. Other than the gentleman working at the bar/short-order area the staff that were supposedly part of the "customer service" team couldn't have been more rude, unwelcoming and punitive. When we arrived to check-in we were very excited. Sadly, instead of a check in person saying "Welcome!" she glared at us and rudely stated she was busy and we would just have to wait. Thereafter when we needed to ask front desk staff for help they sneered at us, told us they were busy and when they did help us it was with disdain. THE HOTEL IS NOT KID FRIENDLY. And the woman who was the "pool monitor" was absolutely horrid. All she did was sit in a chair at the bar and watch for anyone who dared to "break a rule". That is - when she was not staring at her phone. For example our grandson dared to dip his toe in the hot tub and she raced over and scolded and berated him humiliating our entire family. Note that both parents were in the hot tub and are doctors. Then another person had the audacity to walk into the pool area with an iced drink from Starbucks. Again she raced over to the woman and loudly berated her and told her to leave as "no outside drinks allowed!!" The music was so loud at the pool area that we had to yell to be heard. We asked that same woman if it could be turned down and she said that she did not speak English and could not help us. A total lie since she yelled at everyone in English. Overall the pool area was a joke. It was filled with paper cartons from stinky fast food and the pool monitor woman ignored all the trash. There were minimal chairs so most people had nowhere to sit. And with the pool monitor woman glaring at everyone watching for "infractions" she should be fired. VERY MISLEADING AND DECEITFUL DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLAS. One reason we chose this hotel is due to the kitchens all having ovens. NOT TRUE. Only microwaves!!
