Westgate Branson Woods Resort and Cabins

This is really a great place to stay. It's really beautiful there. The rooms are wonderful the beds are wonderful and it's my favorite place to stay in Branson

I loved it all

I can understand the resort life, but when I'm in Branson, I'm not going to stay at the resort all of the time.

In the foyer leading to our room, smelled like "pot" all of the time. Also, bags of trash was left on the balcony for 2 days while were there.

The rooms were wonderful had all the conveniences we needed washing machine, stove fridge two TVs beautiful views it was just a wonderful stay

That there would’ve been more carts to transport our bags upstairs on the elevator

The location of the room we stayed in was private. It was in the back of one of the inns on the end.

The only thing the wife and I liked about this place was the soaps in the bathroom.

We didn't like Westgate as a whole. We do not recommend anybody staying there. We had to be moved to a whole different room because of a toilet issue. The tech said he would have to replace the entire toilet. Then we had to wait in line for roughly 30 minutes or better just to talk to the front desk attendant just to get a different room card. We got our new room cards only to find out the new room they moved us to had a door that would open by itself. Yes it had a manual lock on the inside but you can't engage it from the outside. The wife and I didn't know this. So we woke up excited ready to participate in the free breakfast and tour that the concierge lied about. It was not a free breakfast, it was an hour and a half of someone trying to sell us a time share that we do not want. No we did not get breakfast, we were turned away and were told it's only for timeshare investors. So we take to branson to go find us a bite to eat. Spend the entire day out on the town. We left the resort around 9:35am. We did not show back up until after 7:30pm only to find out the door to our room was wide open and had been all day. Westgate would not do anything about the door. I was curious and talked to several other people who were staying there and to my amazement. We were not the only ones having issues with our door. It didn't matter if you slammed the door, pulled it to very hard and then pulled it some more. The door would not stay shut for nothing. Security came up and tested the lock on the door, which did absolutely nothing. Security reassured is that everything was fine and told us we just didn't shut it all the way. So we get back from dinner, shut the door as hard as I physically could, only to wake up to our door being cracked open and people walking by and peering in the next morning!!! Talk about not feeling safe at a resort.
