Suites Roc Portonova

Hotel is a bit dated but the apartment was very generous in size with 2 balconies. Beds rather firm and no aircon due to time of year. Staff were great - and many restaurants nearby. Good value for money

3 adults travelling 2 disabled pensioners - We arrived at 5am and allocated our 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor (room 4) the door of the apartment was stuck and had to be barged open, once inside the strong smell of damp was overwhelming, there was no pool view as led to believe on the booking. This was reported to reception we were informed that none of the one bedroom apartments have a pool view. We were moved to room 21 also a ground floor apartment, although this room did not smell, the light fittings were hanging off the ceiling, the climate control switch had danger written on it and did not work, the apartment was dirty and the security consisted of a piece of wood to lodge the patio door closed!! We once again complained to reception and had to stay in the room until the following day when the manager was in work. On day 2 we were moved to a third room (120) on the first floor, this room was much better although dated it was what we expected from the previous reviews (clean and tidy. Although the rooms were changed with no fuss at no time did anyone apologies for the incovienience of moving 3 times and no assistance was offered!! On a positive the pool was very clean, tidy,plenty of sunbeds available all times of the day, the food was good, staff there very friendly! Very good location on the beach front, but we would not be returning to the Roc Portanova!

The hotel could use some upgrades but it is clean. It is on a perfect location! close to everything!! When I booked thru Expedia I asked for a sea view but when we got there, they were all taken :( the hotel staff was very helpful and gave us a discount. We had a great time!

We had a lovely 5 day holiday at Roc Portonova in March/April. Firstly greeted by a pleasant hotel manager in lovely reception (included vending machines, library & massage chairs), our 2 bedroom apartment with sea view was spacious with a big veranda-great views of the boatclub & sea. Little bit old fashioned décor but brilliant for the price we paid. Kids had fun at the indoor pool (outdoor closed until April) & at ping pong and pool. Weather was great & we had a fab holiday.

Old fashioned and in need of major updating. More concerning was the state of the electrics, twice lost all of power in room,second time giving a major electric shock, to be then told that the cooker hood was plastic and therefore it was not possible did not go down well, the maintenance man then found a specific problem, which was an electric fault, still to receive an apology or just a concern for my well being, not impressed! If it had happened to one of my children !!!!!!

Whilst the decor was a bit tired the staff and location were great. Surprised to find the indoor pool only open in the winter (1 Nov onwards) not as advertised.

The hotel is pretty shabby (particularly in public areas) but rooms were of a better standard. The pool area was pleasant and pool bar staff were lovely & offered a decent snack menu. The lady who offered poolside entertainment was great & very passionate about her role. Plenty of loungers (Sept) Located near some gorgeous restaurants, supermarkets and 10 min walk to some nice shops (lovely boutiques, leather shop & usual holiday bits& bobs) We were a group of young-at-heart 40+ ladies and we found this hotel to be positioned perfectly in Palma Nova. Quiet enough (if you need) but also only 5 euros away from the madness of Magaluf!! All of the staff were helpful & friendly. All in all would recommend but not luxurious by any means.

Excellent hotel. Great location, at the quiet end of Palmanova, supermarket 2min walk away. Beach on the doorstep. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. The room was clean, a bit dated but had a new bathroom. Kitchenette was equipped sufficiently. We weren't getting picked up til 9pm the day we left, but when we checked out they told us there would be a spare room available around 6.30pm to shower in before we left which was a massive help and the room was a 2 bed apartment which was more maiden than our 1bed apartment and very clean with towels waiting for us! Would definitely recommend, great value for money and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The Bar Staff and reception staff were great, Alicia the entertainment lady was brilliant but had very little to use in the way of equipment and freedom to do what she wanted. Because of surrounding hotels they have to shut the bar and turn off any music at 11:00 so a little quiet if you want it to be more lively. Location is great, pool, sea all seconds away. Breakfast was nice although room is a little small. Apartments very basic but clean.. Rooms could do with updating. Lots of bars and restaurants - one next to hotel is nice, but recommend the beehive 5 min walk from hotel.

Good spacious apartments fully equipped and spotlessly clean ( even though they are a little tired) .Good views across the bay in the quietest area of Palma nova .
