Escale Oceania Marseille Vieux Port

The location was perfect for a first time visitor to Marseille. Close to public transport and Vieux Port, it was perfect for sightseeing and getting around. Room was small but comfortable and was perfect for our needs. Naomi was extremely helpful and is a valuable asset to the hotel.

At this price point, a small fridge in the room would be a nice feature. Having a communal fridge on a lower floor with no lift access was inconvenient especially with medicine that had to be refrigerated.

Temperatura do ar condicionado do quarto é controlado pelo hotel, travesseiros ruins, falta frigobar. Café da manhã muito fraco! Solicitamos por 3 vezes para reduzir a temperatura do ar condicionado do quarto, nosso pedido foi ignorado. Passamos duas noites dormindo mal por calor. Os travesseiros são vergonhosos.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, ein paar Vollkornprodukte wären wünschenswert. Die Lage des Hotels am Alten Hafen ist genial. Alles ist von dort aus gut erreichbar, sei es zu Fuß, mit der Metro, dem Bus oder dem Schiff. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Ab und zu roch es im Hotel(zimmer) nach Rauch und einmal nachts gab es einen (falschen) Feueralarm.
