I had a great stay at The Empire Brunei, which truly feels like a resort. The atmosphere is luxurious and serene, providing a perfect escape. "Empire Brunei off season"

LOVELY staff! Huge room w/a gorgeous balcony. The drapes were long enough, but not nearly wide enough to actually make the room DARK, so that was frustrating. The food wasn't great. Not bad, and again the service almost made up for it, but nothing was fantastic. Must say that the place was far more than 1/2 empty which made actually sitting at the pool DELIGHTFUL!

Very large property, and limited meal options, the price was a bit high. the staff was nice, although they charged me for a hotel pickup, which I never got.
