Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City

Our first time visit was very fun and relaxing. The kids enjoyed the water park and the outside pool. Prices for drinks and other activities where a little pricey.

I absolutely loved this place. We had a fairly large family visit and it was wonderful. The decor and atmosphere is truly outstanding. This is a fun and magical experience for adults and children alike.

My view was great, other than the staff not being super welcoming. The place was super clean!

This place just nickel and dimes way too much. A soft drink at the water park is $3.49 but you have to scan a barcode and get 15 seconds to fill your cup. My young kids (who the place is supposed to be for) aren’t that decisive/don’t move that fast so we ended up with 2 half full cups. Waterpark is mediocre at best…if you’re in Traverse City anyway go for it but if the water park is hour focus there are way better options throughout the state.

Above all our stay was great. The only thing that I would have to say is, we wanted to stay an extra hour for checkout, and they refuse to let us have an extra hour they normally don’t charge us, which is pretty poor. Also, there was cold in the shower.

The prices are ridiculous. Spend 2 nights and have to pay to park to spend the night. 20$ each vehicle each night. Will be our last trip to Great Wolf Lodge.

We rented a suite for our family of 6. It has 2 double/queen beds and a pull out sofa. The pull out sofa was horrible. There was a decline so your head was much lower than where your feet were. I called housekeeping because I thought maybe we didn't have it pulled out right. A woman came and said, unfortunately, that's just how it is. She said some people try and prop up the head area with the couch cushions, which we did try, but that made a big ledge/lump and was not any more comfortable. We, being a family of 6, stay in suites similar to this at other hotels, and have not had a problem with the decline like this before. These pull out sofa beds need to be fixed or replaced.
