I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn because six years ago I was also here and I received great service. And on December 30th just a few days ago I received another great stay the staff are just so friendly they go out of their way to make sure that you’re well taken care of the pool in the fitness center were very nice I was very relaxed I had a great sleep breakfast and dinner were very good. But other than that my stay was very good and I will definitely be back for another great stay.

i stayed there because i needed to be in Portland Airport . I had stayed there before and found it perfect for both shopping at LL Bean and getting to the airport in Portland on time. Good Place to Stay .

The food, employees were great! Clean Rooms were nice great locations to walk to eat and shop! About 5 minute walk to everything! Highly recommended it

I checked in at the beginning of the month. The person at the front desk had me run my debit card for a $50.00 hold for potential incidentals, to be refunded when I checked out if not spent. Fine. Hilton placed a $300.00 hold on my card, not the $50.00 that they stated. Front desk staff did not understand, but assured me it would be refunded when I checked out. A manager eventually figured out it was $50.00 for every day of our stay. Not acceptable to state otherwise up front, but I decided not to make a problem for the staff and just wait. I checked out 13 days ago. The $300.00 hold is still on my account. My bank told me the hotel's hold on my acct was set to drop off my account several days ago. It didn't. We did not purchase any incidentals, and we left the room cleaner than we found it. I have called the hotel twice, left a polite voicemail for the billing manager, and spoken to someone at the front desk who took down my number to have a manager call me. I have heard nothing. How the Hilton considers this acceptable is beyond me. Now I get to spend another weekend hounding them to release the money that they took without my consent. Awesome. If you're staying here, you probably want to keep a close eye on the account for whatever card you give them.
