Pan Card is not acceptable). All international guests are required to present a valid passport and visa. Please note that for Indian guests, cash settlements of INR 25000 and above will require a pan card copy during check out. This is a 140 year old Palace and all rooms are of a different size and layout. Room categories have been classified basis a range of room size and thus no two rooms will be of same size and layout at the hotel. Mandatory Surcharge for Festive Meals - Christmas Eve on 24th Dec at INR 7000 plus taxes per person and New Year Eve on 31st Dec at INR 10000 Plus taxes per person, Kids up to 11 Years will be charged 50 percent of above rates for Mandatory Festive Meals, Festive meals are applicable over and above the booked price and would be directly payable at hotel.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was outstanding. This is a beautiful property with spacious rooms, manicured lawns, fine decorations, and every imaginable convenience. The evening Ganesh Aarti was wonderful. I would definitely come back.

I traveled with 2 local friends from a small town. A (very) few of the staff were somewhat dissmissive of them. The bar prices were steep.

Total chaos. I paid for two nights when I checked in, but was told that I had to check out after only one nights. After I provided proof that I had a reservation for two nights, I was allowed to stay for the second night. Then after the second night, I was first told that I had to check out and re-check in and change rooms. Then after I was packed and ready to check out/in, I was told that they were trying to allow me to stay in the same room. The facility is charmingly rundown. Some other issues. No hot water in the shower. The restaurant waitstaff "accused" me of being a freeloader. Etc.

"Nice Trip but could have really much better...."

Hotel location is the biggest advantage. Big Lawns and Pick/Drop to Jai Vilas Palace Museum. There was no window in the room, very clautophobic and smelly because of no ventilation. Room 108 - is strongly recommended not to be used...

Room would have been better agianst the price paid for 18k per night !!!!!!!!!!!
