Dove Creek Resort & Marina, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Wow - where to begin? It starts with the check-in, the desk person was on his phone, kind of rude and very unhelpful. We went to the elevator and it is not working so we took the stairs. When we got to the room the TV was on, the remote did not work to turn off so we called the hotel - the room has no phone so we dialed the main number, no answer so we unplugged it. The patio door doesn't lock, in fact the locking mechanism is gone, but the bad ripped screen I am sure could keep any one out. The dock/beach has a sunken boat which give a nice shipwreck resort look. We have been down to the keys and this area 6-8 times we have never had such a poor lodging experience. I am really disappointed in Wyndam, this can't be up to their standards. READ THE REVIEWS this hotel is 17 of 23. What scares me is there are six worse!

Location, on water is beautiful , next to awesome restaurant for dinner. We spent time sitting at their beach on chairs. Invested in this property bc it is beautiful

Open with discount- in need of lots of repairs, and not well kept, needs major clean up- windows& doors should be cleaned, hardly any comfortable chairs at pool. The breakfast area is a mess with old furniture stacked at the back of the room. 1 broken elevator to, however others work.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hot tub was a nice way to relax in the evening. We enjoyed dinner and music at Snapper's next door, just a few steps away. While we didn't have time to use them, the hotel had kayaks and bikes for guests to check out.

The walls were very thin and the couple next to us arguing. There was some property construction going on during our stay, but it did not affect our time at all.

We stayed in an oceanfront room that had a small balcony. It was beautiful, extremely comfortable, and clean. This was our second year staying at Dove Creek. We really enjoy that there is a small restaurant on the property. They had live music in the bar area, which was a bonus. We had 5 couples staying with us, and we all loved our rooms, and the views were beautiful!! The breakfast is wonderful with lots of options. We all gathered around a large table and were able to enjoy coffee and breakfast. We will be back!!

The price was extremely high for what was offered. Upon arrival, we were not given the room we had selected and had to show our reservation to get it corrected. The check-in process was confusing, and I was charged with a different card than the one I provided. Breakfast was very basic, and housekeeping does not change towels unless you specifically request it. Overall, the service and quality did not match the price. Overpriced stay with service issues
